Changed the Aim Mode when Perspective-assist is turned on. (It will now be an over-the-shoulder shot instead of in first-person perspective.)
Added a steam effect to the exoskeleton armor in Perspective-assist Mode for certain actions such as the double jump.
Perspective-assist Mode Optimization

Optimized the dodge animation transition to make it look more natural.
Optimized the dash animation transition to make the switch from walking to dashing look more natural.
Optimized the physics of Sheila's hair to fix most instances where her hair would become longer when using certain skills.
Optimized the Aim Mode so that the crosshair will only zoom in or out when firing in Perspective-assist Mode.

Fixed an issue where the toon shader would not work in Introduction and Life and Death.
Fixed an issue where the toon shader would not work during the animation of the sneak attack with the kitchen knife in the stealth mission of Surrounded.

(We fixed several bugs that were found in the previous version, and added Super Sampling support)

The game now supports AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR2.2).
The game now supports Intel XeSS Super Sampling 1.1.
Fixed a bug where if the game was closed with perspective-assist and toon rendering turned on, the toon-rendered model would appear lighter in color upon next startup.
Fixed an issue that caused the game to sometimes crash when the screen fades to black if the player launched the game in "DX12 Mode".
Fixed an issue where motion blur was applied to the weapon UI when changing perspectives, making it hard to read.
Adjusted collisions with area dividers, fixing an issue where certain actions would cause players to go out of bounds.

Increased FOV when Perspective-assist is turned on from 80 to 90.
Fixed an issue where the ammo of multiple weapons will reduce to 0 when Perspective-assist is turned on, and changing weapons quickly after reloading will cause the machine gun float in mid-air.
Fixed issue where dodging multiple times consecutively in Perspective-assist mode will cause motion to be laggy.
Fixed issue where Shelia's model in the swimming scene in "Changes" appears transparent when having the Cyber Rabbit costume or Rabbit School Uniform costume equipped.

Hello everyone, we've released a special update to celebrate Chinese New Year that we hope you'll enjoy!
We're introducing an all-new Perspective-assist mode. When you turn it on in settings, Shelia's model will be displayed on-screen. Shelia's model will only be displayed while moving and firing a weapon without aiming. The camera will revert to first-person when aiming, using skills, using the Light Blade, defending, and grappling.
We're also introducing 2 new costume DLC's to the lineup: The Cyber Rabbit and Rabbit School Uniform.
We've also added a toon redndering model to Shelia, simply press the home key in-game to switch models.
New Functions

Perspective-assist mode Shelia's model will only be displayed while moving and firing weapon without aiming. The camera will revert to first-person when aiming, using skills, using the Light Blade, defending, and grappling.
New Rabbit School Uniform DLC for Shelia
New Cyber Rabbit DLC for Shelia
Toon rendering model added for Shelia Press the home key in-game to switch models.
Changed the tiger doll with a rabbit doll in the car chase mission
Optimizations

Optimized NPC character models and improved frame rate.
Optimized the lightning effects of the Six-armed Emperor's lightning attack and improved frame rate.
Optimized GPU processing of the flame effects when the Giant King is in its second form.
Optimized the "check weapon" action for the assault rifle to make the arm movement more natural.
Optimized the motion blur after the sneaking mission.
Adjusted the skins menu to show the newest skins first.
Optimized Shelia's model in the skins menu so that her left arm is in a more natural position.

This latest update includes improved player mobility, UI/effect optimizations, skill balance adjustmenets, added NVIDIA Reflex 1.6 support, and many more improvements/fixes!
Fixes & Adjustments

Updating NVIDIA Reflex to version 1.6 will further reduce input lag for mouse and keyboard.
Increased player movement and dash speed by 20%.
Adjusted size of enemy defensive armor gauge for visual improvements.
Changed effect when enemy defensive armor gauge when it reaches 0 for visual improvements.
Added sound effect when enemy defensive armor gauge reaches 0.
Adjusted the sizes of boss HP and defensive armor gauges.
Fixed issue in Closed Call where the wild boar in the car chase sequence does not move.
Fixed issue where using shrapnel bomb on the wild boar will cause game to freeze.
Fixed issue where interrupting Tian Yu Emperor's attacks with the Light Blade will cause Tian Yu Emperor to stop attacking player for a short period of time.

Dear Users, We are very excited to announce that Bright Memory: Infinite has been nominated for "Outstanding Visual Style" at the 2021 Steam Awards.
Thanks to the Unreal 4 Engine and Ray Tracing technologies, FYQD-Studio was able to recreate real-life locations in-game, such as the Wind and Rain Bridge from Guangxi and the Thousand-Household Miao Village in Guizhou. Not to mention the extremely detailed dark and stormy environment to suit the game's atmosphere.
To celebrate this occassion, we have prepared two new DLC packs that will be free for a limited time during Chinese New Year (Jan 28 - Feb 4) for all of you who already own Bright Memory: Infinite.

Fixed issue where defending immediately after a counter makes player invincible.
Fixed issue where the "Hell" difficulty level achievements unlock instead of the "Revenge" difficulty achievements. ※If player has already beaten the game in "Revenge" difficulty, achievements will be automatically unlocked the next time the game is started.
Fixed issue where upgrading tracker shells for the assault rifle to level 3 will lead to reduced damage.
Fixed issue where the tank appears again when player moves to restart point inside the small house in "Surrounded".
Reduced VRAM usage by reducing the shrapnel produced when the Mountain Beast is beaten.
Reduced VRAM usage by optimizing the effects when the Wild Boar is beaten.
Fixed issue where the anchor-wielding enemy soldier can get stuck in the rocks in "The Primordial Flood".
Fixed issue where the enemy soldiers in "The Primordial Flood" can lose sight of Shelia atop the pillar.
Fixed issue where BGM stops playing during cutscene at the beginning of "Surrounded".
Fixed issue where enemy soldiers attacked by Aerial Slash can still attack player in mid-air.
Reduced VRAM usage by approximately 500MB for "Changes", "Surrounded", and "The Primordial Flood". *In order to fix issue of lowering framerate when using DX12
Increased damage for Blade Slash Whirlwind Level 1 and Level 2.
Fixed issue where turning the steering wheel can cause assault vehicle to skid and crash into the wall when gtravelling down the slope.
Changed the maximum steering wheel turning angle from 55 to 45 degrees.
Optimized the timing at which enemy vehicles appear in the car chase sequence to prevent the enemy vehicles left behind from attacking player from behind.
Fixed issue where changing to the assault rifle after restarting will cause the assault rifle ammo to be incorrectly displayed.

Secluded Orchid, a tech demo made with Unreal Engine 5, is available now! While there are no plans of a Bright Memory: Infinite remake made with Unreal Engine 5, FYQD Studio plans on utilizing Unreal Engine 5 in their upcoming works. Please look forward to what they have in store and stay tuned!

Hello everyone! We've released a new update just in time for the release of the NVIDIA RTX4080. The input lag after turning on DLSS3 has been reduced from 38ms to 27ms.

Furthermore, we will be implementing new features in the near future! We are planning on adding a perspective-assist function and new DLC skins to the game, so please look forward to them.

Perspective-assist function: Will only be usable when firing while moving. The camera will be in first-person when aiming, using skills, using the Light Blade, defending, sliding, and grappling.
