Yee'haw pardners, I've got some GREAT NEWS!
The team have been hard at work, and we've got a brand new update for you! It features a couple of new things that we know players have been asking for, as well as some balancing fixes!
New Features:
Ability to Save and Exit a run at the warp gate exit
You'll now be able to continue on from the next level at the main menu! We know lots of folks are busy, and when you've found THE RUN it's hard to put down - now you're able to do that safely at each end gate, and pick up where you left off next time you play!
Text Resizing
We know some folks were having difficulty with text sizes, so we've added the ability to increase them!
Gems are now awarded upon fully completing a postbox thread
The more you learn about the world around you, the more we now reward you! Get out there and grab those gems!
Lux and Pulsar can now take Upgrade cards to reroll perks
If you've been to Lux and Pulsar's shop and didn't like the upgrades on offer then we want to allow you to build the run that suits you better. With spare upgrade cards, you can now re-roll the perks that they are offering! The cost increases each time you roll but is reset between uses of Lux and Pulsar's table.
New Rooms have been added
What could they hold?
Fixes and balancing:

Fixed an issue that was causing older graphics cards/systems to crash when loading into the main menu.
Adjusted the difficulty to be slightly more forgiving on unlucky or bad runs
Numerous small vfx tweaks

We've just popped out a REALLY EXCITING UPDATE, full of NEW FEATURES, a brand new EASY MODE and a couple of big bug fixes!
Here's what's new in version 1.1.0:
New Features:

Special “Grimheart Badges” have been added which can be unlocked by completing in-game achievements. Each badge dramatically alters gameplay, and they can be stacked to create unique combinations.
Grimheart Badges:

High Octane (everything moves faster)
Danmaku (more projectiles, slower speed)
Wild Guns (random guns every time you dodge)
Only Need One (start the game with only 1 heart)
Easy difficulty:
Players can now lower the game’s difficulty by toggling a setting in the options menu. The easier difficulty lowers enemy fire rates and projectile speeds, and increases health and gold drops - this results in a slower-paced, more relaxed experience.
Updates:

Returned A.J’s starting weapon to the previous damage amount with a slightly nerfed fire rate.
Slightly reduced the difficulty of levels 1-Settler’s Run and 2-Glow Caves
Meteor Summoner attack VFX updates
New Achievements - Beating the game with High Octane, Only Need one, and both at the same time.
Added some new rooms to the Cave and Moon biomes.
Some performance updates
Improved the background cloud fill, mostly focused on lower-quality settings
Overhauled the general shaders
Resolved Small lag spikes on some pcs for the following:

Rocky Rumble Projectiles
First Occurrence of the Train traps
Entering the Shop
Drop pod enemies
BurningBlades/Bolstered blades charge start
Entering Chest rooms
Sniper Ultimate effect
Enemy Enrage
Barrel Explosions
Reward drops
Hover Clubs explosion
Gaining Ultimate Charge
Collecting a heart
Barfingtons Barf
Heal beams
Bug Fixes:

Fixed issue where input glyphs were not correctly showing on some tooltips
Fixed an issue where the Tick on L&P and the Chest would flicker on the minimap
Resolved an issue where numerous enemies could not have their fire rates adjusted, which would affect some enemies when they enrage

Thanks so much to everyone reaching out with their feedback, we've been reading it all over carefully and adjusting the game to put together a balance update for you all! Watching streams, videos and reading threads has been SUPER helpful to us, thank you so much to everyone who has been making content and reaching out!
Here's what's new:
Game Changes

Players progress faster through the meta progression, with level requirements being reduced
The order in which items are unlocked via the meta progression has been updated
Added player bios to the discoveries UI
New players start with 100 gems
A slight reduction in level 1 difficulty - including bosses
All bosses have had their damage resistance updated
Added new rooms, updated some room layouts, Fixed an issue with some floors in the infected biome
New controller crosshair settings to adjust the crosshair distance
Confirmation screens added to the pause menu
All weapons are now automatic firing
A.J’s starting weapon’s damage has been slightly nerfed (sorry, sniper fans!)
Buffed the Firefly weapon
Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where upon reaching level 60 players would get stuck with a black screen
Resolved some issues with game loading, please let us know if these persist
Ammo counts should no longer go into the negatives
Fixed issue where the player could still control the character during the final cutscene
Numerous small optimisation updates and smaller bug fixes

We want to thank you all again for playing TombStar, we hope you're having a rootin' and tootin' time!
We've pushed a small hotfix update, here's what's changed:

Added native PS5 Dual Sense controller support
Added support for multiple controllers connected at the same time
Updates to the remapping screen to improve behaviour when multiple controllers are plugged in
Added NEW ability effects for AJ
Added NEW rooms in the Infected Biomes
Fixed issues with boss related achievements not registering
The crosses over eyes should now correctly be placed over the eyes
Fixed an issue where Rocky Rumble would slide around between attacks
Fixed an issue where "!" wouldn't disappear after looking at items in the badge store
Minor performance tweaks
We'll have more details on upcoming updates SOON, please don't forget to keep giving us feedback!
We can't wait to bring you more content - keep an eye out for more news and updates. It's gonna get rowdy!

HEY EVERYONE!
We hope you've been enjoying TombStar just as much as we are! We want to thank you all so much for playing and giving us feedback, your opinions are super important to us and we want to give you the best experience possible!
We've been listening to your feedback, and here's what we're fixing in our first priority update:

Achievement bug fixes
Updated support for PS4 and PS5 controllers
Added support for extra mouse inputs
Various other smaller bug fixes
Small performance updates
Once we've dropped this hotfix, we'll be bringing you a big balancing update we've been working on, all based on the comments we've been taking on board!
Here are some of the things we're working on:

Items unlocked faster in meta progression
Controller crosshair quality of life improvements
Confirmation for quitting during a run
Making all weapons automatic (no semi-auto)
Performance updates
Later down the line, we're looking to inject some MORE CONTENT! We don't want to reveal too much right now, but we'll be looking to add features relating to perks and difficulty, so you can have even more of a tailored experience when facing the Grimheart Gang! Whether you would like the experience to be easier, or maybe even harder for you veterans, we're looking to bring this to you in a really cool way!
We'll also be looking at making saving even better, and implementing further accessibility options too!
Thank you to everyone who has been playing TombStar, we hope you've been having a darn tootin' time, and we can't wait to bring you further updates and content for the game!
Stay tuned for more news and updates, we're super excited to grow the game alongside you!!
