Hey Gas Jockeys!
When we were working on Gas Station Simulator, we spent a lot of time thinking about Route 66. Not just what it should look like, but what it should feel like. We wanted that feeling of being somewhere in the middle of nowhere, where the road seems endless and the next car could bring absolutely anyone to your doorstep. That's part of what made the gas station so much fun to build. It's a small place, but the world keeps coming to it. Travelers stop for fuel, grab something to eat, look around the store, and then disappear back onto the road.
After spending so much time with that idea, we started wondering about the other places along Route 66. What happens behind the next door? Who stops there? And what kind of problems do they bring with them? A roadhouse turned out to be a pretty good answer.
At first glance, there's not much that connects a gas station and a roadhouse. One has pumps, the other has a bar. One is busy during the day, the other really comes alive at night. But the more we looked at them, the more familiar they started to feel. Both are places where people on the road come together. Both depend on keeping customers happy. Both have supplies to manage, money to make, equipment to maintain and both have a tendency to become much more chaotic than you planned. The difference is mostly in the kind of trouble you have to deal with.
In Gas Station Simulator, you might spend your day cleaning up after customers, fixing equipment, or trying to keep the shelves stocked. In Roadhouse Simulator, you might have to worry about what happens when the customers themselves become the problem. In Gas Station Simulator, we gave you one little piece of Route 66 to take care of. Roadhouse Simulator lets us look at that same road from another perspective. Same road. Different problems.

What do a crocodile and a capybara have in common?
Apparently, more than you'd think. In the wild, capybaras and crocodilians can often be found sharing the same environment without constantly turning it into a fight. They simply coexist sometimes getting surprisingly close to one another.
You've already met the crocodileGustave in Gas Station Simulator. And now, at Caldora Airport, there's another animal making itself at home... the capybara. Maybe the crocodile doesn't see the capybara as a snack. Maybe the capybara knows it can trust the crocodile. Or maybe they've simply decided that airports and gas stations are much more fun when you have a friend waiting for you.
We don't know how their friendship started. But we know one thing: these two aren't enemies. From the gas station to the airport, the DRAGO animal friendship continues. Some friendships just make sense.
Check out the capybaras in our new Prologue Launch Trailer

Hey Gas Jockeys!
If you enjoyed keeping the Airstrip running in Gas Station Simulator, it's time to take your aviation career one step further.
At the Airstrip, you helped pilots land safely, managed aviation fuel and plane parts, and kept the runway running smoothly. Now, in Airport Contraband, you're on the other side of the airport operation.
Instead of guiding planes onto the runway, you'll be checking the people and luggage coming through the terminal. Inspect passengers, scan their bags, uncover suspicious items, and make the call on who gets through security.
You already know that airports can be unpredictable. But this time, what's hiding inside the luggage is your problem to solve.
Think you've got what it takes to spot the contraband?

Hey Gas Jockeys!
TLDR: we cancelled the Shady Deals DLC and built Roadhouse Simulator instead. The long version is below, and the Demo is out today.
We killed it after a milestone review
In September 2024 we released the Car Junkyard DLC for Gas Station Simulator. It went well, and it also set a new quality bar for us that nobody had planned to set.
Around that date we sat down with what was left of the Shady Deals milestones and had the kind of review where you stop talking about the schedule and start talking about the thing itself. The conclusion took a while for anyone to say out loud, because nobody wants to be the person who says it.
Shady Deals was not going to be as good as the DLC we had just released.
We hired an outside company to help us deliver the biggest and best DLC for Gas Station Simulator, and we realised that goal was no longer reachable.
What Shady Deals was
For anyone who came in late: Shady Deals was announced as the next big Gas Station Simulator DLC, and the pitch was your Uncle turning up with another business proposition, maybe on the not so legal side of business.
You would help him build All The Dots, a pub if we are being generous with the word, right next to your gas station. Around it sat everything a place like that attracts. Moonshine you distilled yourself and sold to your own patrons. Under the counter pharmaceuticals. Brawls. A police force taking a steady interest in your evenings. And because we can never leave anything alone, complicated relations with local biker gangs.
There was a cast too, a set of unsavoury characters with their own stories and their own deals. Octane among them, there to show a newcomer how that side of the business really worked.
We still like that pitch. It is why a lot of you were waiting. Nothing here is us deciding it was a bad idea. The problem was never the idea. It was its proper place in the Gas Station world.
The pub got too big for the plot
A DLC has one job: make the base game bigger without making it worse. Car Junkyard works because the junkyard feeds the gas station. It is a second business that points back at the first one. You leave the counter, you do something with your hands, you come back richer, and the gas station is still the centre of your world.
The pub did not behave like that.
Put a room full of people in a building, people who drink, argue, order food, wait too long, get louder, break the furniture and occasionally each other, and you do not have a feature. You have a second game running in the same save file. It needs opening hours. Customers with their own patience. Staff. A supply chain. An escalation curve, failure states, its own reasons for an evening to go wrong. Even a few of those systems, built properly, wanted more attention than a side building has any right to ask for.
Every time we made the pub better, it took another slice of the evening away from the gas station. Not in a complementary way. The stronger the pub got, the less reason there was to walk back across the lot.
At some point Shady Deals stopped enhancing Gas Station Simulator and started competing with it.
That was not a DLC any more. That was a game that had not admitted what it was yet...
Why the PAST instead of the FUTURE
The decision to make it a full game came first. Setting it in the past as a prequel to Gas Station came a little later, and once someone said it the argument lasted about a minute.
The question had been sitting there for years. Where does a man like that come from? Where do you learn to run a business with flexible accounting, disposable furniture and an ongoing relationship with the police? Nobody arrives at a gas station like that. Something happened first.
So we moved the whole thing backwards. The Uncle as a young man, still on Route 66, a different stretch of it, a few days' drive from the patch of dirt that eventually becomes a Gas Station you might recognise.
And the Roadhouse stops being a side building bolted onto somebody else's business. It is the whole world, which is what it had been demanding to be for about a year.
What we kept
More than you would think, and less than you would think.
All The Dots kept its name. It was always the right name and there was never a conversation about changing it. If you played the Prologue in May, you stood in it.
The Gangs came with us, adjusted for the period and for a world where they are the main event.
Octane came with us. He was the player's mentor in Shady Deals and he is the player's "mentor" here, a role that works considerably better when the player is a young man who genuinely knows nothing yet.
Most mechanics kept their names, though nearly all of them changed shape once they were feeding a full game loop.
Underneath that it is a rebuild. New code. Around ninety percent of the assets in the game today were made or remade from scratch. What survives from Shady Deals is the theme, the names and the design we developed during the Shady Deals phase.
The most valuable thing we carried over was the design conclusions. We spent a long time building a version of this that did not work, and by the end we knew exactly why. That is expensive knowledge, so nothing in Roadhouse Simulator is a first draft.
The Demo is out today
It is free, obviously, and it continues from the Prologue.
More beer types, each bringing its own set of trouble to the Bar.
Working under the watchful eye of the Police.
The Hype you need to manage to keep your guests entertained.
If you are good at your job you will gain Influence, and you can spend it expanding beyond the walls of the Roadhouse.
Where we are right now
The DLC is gone. Absorbed. The Steam page is down. Everything it was going to be is either in Roadhouse Simulator already or on its way there.
It is a standalone game and you do not need Gas Station Simulator to play it. It is the Uncle's story from the beginning, built to work as somebody's first game in this world.
The Demo is live. Go and see whether we were right. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Think you already know everything about Gas Station Simulator? Here are a few tips that can make your daily routine a lot more efficient:
⛽ Fuel first during rush hours.Cars waiting at the pumps can quickly pile up into traffic jams, and that stops new customers from even entering your station.
📦 Don't overstock everything. Focus on your best-selling products instead of filling every shelf equally. A well-managed inventory means fewer emergency deliveries and more profit.
🧹 A clean station is a busy station. Pick up trash regularly and keep things tidy to hold onto your popularity and pull in more customers.
🚗 Use your employees wisely. Assign them to repetitive tasks like fueling, cashier duties, or cleaning while you focus on restocking, upgrades, and handling the unexpected.
💰 Reinvest your earnings. Expanding the station and unlocking new services usually pays off faster than letting cash sit in your account.
Every small optimization adds up, and before you know it, your tiny roadside stop will be the busiest gas station in the desert.
Road Diner: Prologue is coming out in 3 days! Wishlist it below and get cooking. 👇

Hey Gas Jockeys!
We recently received some questions regarding multiplayer for Gas Station Simulator and the topic also pops up regularly in Steam discussions. Every now and then there is always that one rumor floating around, so we would like to take a moment and make it official: we are NOT working on multiplayer for Gas Station Simulator.
Adding multiplayer to Gas Station Simulator with all its DLCs at this point would be a close to insane undertaking and make no mistake, adding a multiplayer retroactively to a game that was never designed with multiplayer in mind more often than not ends with a subpar experience anyway.
There is however some news when it comes to multiplayer: Road Diner will be our first game that is designed with a multiplayer experience in mind. We actually just published an announcement regarding this very topic if you are interested: see Devlog Road Diner Simulator

From Restocking Shelves to Running Uncle's Supply Chain
In Gas Station Simulator, keeping your business alive meant staying on top of deliveries. Snacks, drinks, car parts, ice cream, toys - every product had to be ordered, delivered, unpacked, and placed where customers could find it. Run out of stock, and your profits would quickly disappear.
But Uncle's roadhouse isn't stocking candy bars and windshield wiper fluid.
In Roadhouse Simulator, every delivery directly affects the kind of customers you can attract — and how much money they'll spend once they walk through the door.
Starting out, you'll rely on cheap beer, basic liquor, and low-quality furniture. It's enough to keep the regular crowd happy, but the profits won't make anyone rich. And when a drunken biker smashes a chair during a fight, you'll only be able to repair it a few times before it's headed for the scrap pile.
As your roadhouse grows, so does your catalog. Premium beer, luxury spirits, and durable furniture begin attracting wealthier customers willing to spend more money during their visit. Better products mean bigger profits, fewer complaints, and less time spent replacing broken equipment.
Everything is ordered through your office PC, delivered directly to the roadhouse, and stored in your warehouse until needed. It's about making sure the next delivery arrives before the customers drink you dry.
Remember Uncle's Rule #10:"A full warehouse keeps the good times rolling”

Hey Gas Jockeys!
Popularity Is Good. Controlled Chaos Is Better.
In Gas Station Simulator, success was all about popularity. Keep your station clean, serve customers efficiently, and collect positive feedback. The more people liked your station, the more travelers stopped by, helping your business grow from a forgotten desert stop into a bustling roadside destination.
But Uncle's roadhouse plays by a different set of rules.
In Roadhouse Simulator, customers don't just want good service - they want a good time. Every drink served, every toast made, and every night worth remembering contributes to your Fun Meter.
Of course, where there's fun, there's also trouble.
The more alcohol your customers consume, the higher the risk of trouble. Tension begins to build when bikers have one drink too many, and if Uncle doesn't step in quickly, a lively night can turn into broken furniture and flying fists.
It's keeping the party wild enough to attract customers, while making sure it doesn't end with the police scraping bikers off the floor. Ohh and one more think! Don’t forgot to ring the bell to get the toast in your Roadhouse!
Uncle's Rule #9:
"A boring bar goes bankrupt. A bar full of fights goes broke. Keep 'em laughing, not punching.”

Hey Gas Jockeys!
From Filling Tanks to Filling Pints.
In Gas Station Simulator, serving customers starts at the pump. You grab the injector, connect it to the highlighted fuel cap, and start filling the tank. Need to work faster? Hold Shift to speed up the process. But speed alone isn't enough hitting the requested fuel amount as accurately as possible earns you the best payout and even a tip from satisfied customers.
But Uncle's roadhouse runs on something a little stronger than gasoline!
In Roadhouse Simulator, you'll be trading fuel pumps for beer taps. Before you can pour a single pint, you'll need to haul kegs from storage, connect them to the tap system, secure the adapter, and make sure everything is ready to flow.
Then comes the real challenge. Place a clean mug under the tap, pull the handle, and watch the beer rise toward the perfect serving level. Stop too early and your customer won't be impressed. Pour too little and they'll leave disappointed. To keep thirsty bikers happy, every pint needs to be filled with precision.
Just like at the gas station, success comes down to timing, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The only difference is that instead of filling tanks for travelers, you're pouring drinks for a crowd that's much louder - and far less patient.
Remember Uncle's Rule #8 Fill it right. Keep the night.

In Gas Station Simulator, your station was a pit stop for dusty cars, old pickups, and exhausted travelers crossing the desert highway. Customers rolled in for fuel, repairs, snacks, and maybe a little bit of trouble.
But on Uncle’s stretch of Route 66, things sound very different!
In Roadhouse Simulator, the roads belong to bikers, gangs, and roaring motorcycles shaking the entire parking lot before they even stop for a drink. Leather jackets replace family tourists, engines scream through the night, and every arriving gang brings its own atmosphere - sometimes friendly… sometimes one bad look away from a full-blown fight.
At Uncle’s roadhouse, motorcycles aren’t just vehicles - they’re a warning that chaos just pulled into town.

Back in Gas Station Simulator, the Lottery Machine was all about taking chances. Customers lined up, bought tickets, pulled the lever, and dreamed of hitting the jackpot while the machine blasted lights, music, and fireworks across the station.
But at Uncle’s roadhouse? Gambling became a whole different kind of entertainment.
Sure, there’s still a slot machine waiting for lucky players to strike it rich…But! The real attraction starts when the pigs hit the dirt track.
Behind the building - gangsters and drunk customers gather around the arena to bet cash on chaotic pig races where four pigs sprint to glory. Every race is loud, unpredictable, and packed with enough tension to empty wallets in seconds.
Because at Uncle’s place, gambling isn’t just about luck. It’s about greed, chaos, and betting everything on the fastest pig in town.

Hey Gas Jockeys!
In Gas Station Simulator, sometimes sneaking into abandoned cars with a lockpick can be very useful for searching valuable loot hidden inside trunk.
But in Roadhouse Simulator, Uncle’s version of “security” is far more serious.
At roadhouse, fights can get out of control very fast! If things escalate too much, the police might start paying very close attention to what’s happening inside. Uncle can handle a lot of problems on his own - but getting on the wrong side of the law is something even he would rather avoid.
Because at the end of the day, running a roadhouse isn’t just about serving drinks. It’s about keeping the chaos under control.
Uncle’s Rule #5: "A cheap lock makes an expensive lesson.”

Hey Gas Jockeys!
Throwing out trash meant grabbing garbage bags, cleaning up after careless customers, and tossing the mess straight into the dumpster behind the station.
But in, Uncle has a much bigger problem on his hands.
When drunk customers pass out or get knocked out cold after a brutal fight, somebody has to drag their unconscious bodies out of the Roadhouse. Toss them outside, and they’ll eventually crawl back home. Throw them into another customer, though… and you might accidentally start another bar fight.
Uncle's Rule #4: "Take out the trash gently, cause it might wake up swinging."

But in Roadhouse Simulator things get way messier!
Uncle’s Rule #3: "Nobody drinks in a bar that smells worse than they do."
Forget simple dirt! Now Uncle needs to mop up blood after brutal bar fights, clean vomit spots around tables, and figure out how to keep the entire roadhouse from turning into a complete disaster zone. The longer he ignores the mess, the worse it gets!
In the upcoming Roadhouse Simulator: Prologue, keeping the Roadhouse in one piece is just as important as serving the customers.
Keeping things running meant (see Rule #2) cleaning dirty floors and fixing the occasional breakdown.
