Hey pilots!
As a quick announcement, Absolute Territory is 30% in the Steam Summer sale which wraps up in just under a weeks time.
As a bonus, Absolute Territory recently reached the threshold for Steam Community items. That means Steam Trading cards and everything else that goes along with them! Level up your badge, or just pick and choose any profile backgrounds and chat emotes from the points store.
Many thanks to the Absolute Territory community in getting us this far. Steam Community items would not have been possible without you buying/playing/reviewing the game!

2.4.3 Release (20240517) Overview - fixed some issues
Fixed - Rebuilt executable which appears to solve Vomitoria occasionally disappearing after spawning in on the 2nd tutorial mission. Added logging in case this still happens. For any incidents, please send me the player.log on Discord. You'll also notice the missile lock periodically relocking, every 30 seconds, which is just the scripting reloading your missile ammo during tutorials only.
Fixed - Null reference error, when loading a mission file with any actions containing a group selection, in the Level Editor
Amend - All seeking missiles have better turning behavior but can still miss targets (like small stationary ones)
Amend - Heatseeker missile no longer used in default load-outs for player campaign faction due to its seeking requirement making it situational at best

Releasing into Early Access, A-Spec First Assault adds a mini prologue campaign designed to introduce new players to concepts and features over 7 missions.
Completing the prologue opens the campaign preview with 3 main and 5 side missions. These are the same missions made available in the demo.
The skirmish gameplay mode provides quick access into combat with abilities to change the loadout and number of ships on a 1 v 1 team singleplayer with AI teammates.
A-Spec First Assault offers a wide range of customization options for each ship. Equip your vessel with an array of primary projectile guns and secondary missile launchers, bolstering your frontal assault. Alternatively, opt for turreted guns that provide wider firing arcs, or adopt a balanced approach with a combination of both. Remember, bigger ships deliver greater firepower and make bigger targets.
Augment your ship's performance with support modules, bolstering its core systems. Enhance agility, top speed, armor, hull strength, fire rate, firepower, and more, tailoring your vessel to your play style.

Hello gamers,
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or a good day to you. To celebrate this Christian festive season Absolute Territory is at a historic low price with 50% off.
A few sceptics believe Absolute Territory to be a run-of-the-mill arcade game (point to where you want to go) due to the help of the flight assist computer that is used to correct trajectories. Well, now you can turn it off, removing all velocity limits, and fling yourself off into the deep deep cold of space.
For greater control (and now adding true 6 axis of freedom) a toggle for the throttle to slip it into reverse has been added.
The new controls (Toggle flight computer, and reverse thrust) are not bound, as whenever I release an update with new default controls it breaks players existing control bindings. With that said, if you find you controls are now working, reset your bindings from within the Controllers and Key Bindings menu.

Patch Notes 2.0.1 Release (20210820) Overview - Tunnelling can be disabled in options and an unsupported TrackIR implementation.
Visual
Added - Auto Exposure and Ambient Occlusion Postprocessing Effects
Amend - Gameplay scene lighting adjusted to use the Skybox instead of constant color.
Gameplay
Added - Toggle Tunnel Vision when using VR (Options > Game > VR Tunnelling
Added - An experimental and there not officially supported (I reserve the right to pull this feature at any time) Track IR implementation
VR
Amend - Press CTRL-F12 to recenter the VR headset in the main menu and in flight
An important developed note on the current Track IR implementation As I don't own any Track IR hardware I cannot reasonably test this myself and has been classed as experimental and officially unsupported. If you enable Track IR the experience may be sub-par or entirely broken. I will do my best to work with any Track IR users willing to be guinea pigs and provide relevant feedback towards improving the implementation. That is no guarantee that Track IR will become an official feature in the game and I reserve the right to abandon any further development on it.
Enabling Track IR The command-line argument "-trackir" will be needed, I recommend you create a shortcut to the Standard game exe on your desktop and add the argument in the target box as exampled below.
