Hello starchasers! As promised I'm back with another patch to address gamebreakingly softlockingly pertinent issues, plus a variety of other small goodies. Cat pics? What? What do you- Oh, right. Okay, here's a few. Anyway the game's going through a massive deep dive of bugfixing
Hello again starchasers! I'm back sooner than you may have expected, back with a decent sized patch that's here mostly to address a myriad of reported multiplayer issues, amongst other things. This was originally going to just be a small hotfix, but more and more reports came in
Hello starchasers! Been a hot minute, hasn't it? I was aiming to push this patch to the main branch earlier in the year, around the end of June, but there was SO much testing, fixing, and work that had to go into it on top of everything else in my life that it ended up getting pu
Hello starchasers! You should have expected a new patch to coincide with the Steam Summer Sale; I'm a predictable kind of guy like that. There's not too much new stuff here: it's mostly fixing a ton of (some pretty serious) bugs in multiplayer, as well as refining various options
Hello Starchasers! Did you expect an update? A mainline update? I certainly didn't, not at first, but I met with the other members of our development team (pictured below) and we discussed the matter at length. We've reached the point now where the only remaining thing before our
Hello, starchasers! It's our second year annivesary for Underspace's early access release, and we've been barreling towards the full 1.0 release at a breakneck pace, with only a few major tasks left before we enter our beta for that! The cats are excited. Now, we've had a lot of
Hello starchasers! What, did you think you'd never see me again? Did the Doubt Gnome whisper his foul magics in your ears and make you believe like this wasn't something that was gonna be pulled off? Well, surprise! Multiplayer's here! Sort of. It's going quite well, actually. I
Hello starchasers! My two-week sabbatical is coming to a close, and there's been a few bugs unleashed by the last update (and the whole fundamental-change-to-our-entire-file-format) that required a fix or two. Since I was also able to finish up some other bits and features (some
Hello starchasers! It’s been a hot minute since the last patch announcement, hasn’t it. I’m sure the cats missed all of you, if they could understand such a concept. When was the last mainline patch? September, was it? Jeez, that’s a lot of time. Obviously, our beta branch has be
Hello starchasers! No, this isn't the talky patch I've talked about, but there is news and a new opportunity for those willing to try it out. You want cat photos first? Alright, fine. Okay, got your fill? Onto more important matters! Beta Branch I spoke briefly on establishing a
Welcome to September, starchasers! Now we all know it's about three days until that Bug Game releases, so all of us, myself included, probably don't give two rocks of an Ast's wing-thingies about any sort of other games at the moment, but that won't stop me from putting out this
Starchasers! Hunters of the Union and beyond! Did you think I was done with you? Did you think you could let yourselves rest? We're done with patches when I SAY we're done (and when, you know, we've got multiplayer and stuff implemented). It's been a couple weeks, and on some lev
Hello again starchasers! Been a bit, hasn't it? Lot of bug reports piling up. Unfortunately for you and me, these past two weeks have been spent moving halfway across the country and then waiting for my actual work materials and computer to arrive, so I haven't been able to addre
Welcome one and all! Ladies, gentlemen, starchasers, sentient microbes and angry screaming swear crystals! The Steam Summer Sale has commenced and Gabe Newell has blessed our wallets with the blessing of being drained. My computer is packed somewhere in some box somewhere and I'm
Hello starchasers! It's been a hot minute or two since we last talked, huh? What was it, April? April seems like it was years ago. I bet you've been starving for cat pics, huh? It's taken quite a bit to get this update out, seeing as these two damn things want my attention at all

Hello starchasers! Today's April Fools so normally I'd be announcing something silly like selling ships for real money or adding battleships. But I don't make jokes, ever. So to that end, I'm releasing patch 1.42.0 for Underspace. This has a few new features but mostly it's imple
Welcome to March, starchasers! I hope you're having a better time of it than our cats did, seeing as they spent most of this month sneezing and being sick. They're better now though. Back to being normal weird furry things that never stop screaming. So! I've got good news and bad
Welcome back starchasers! It's been a hot minute since I dropped a hot steaming patch onto your laps, how you holding up? Doing okay? Want to go back to sleep under the covers? That's fair. But let's talk patch stuff. We're aiming for our next big milestone update: Intergalactic
