Heaven Dust 2 is a survival horror game inspired by some classic titles and developed by One Gruel Studio, a two-person team. Heaven Dust 2 features exploration, action, puzzles, and resource management. You wake up from a cryogenic pod deep inside a research base and find yourself trapped in a living hell, surrounded by zombies... will you be able to escape?
GAME FEATURES

Classic survival horror genre: Heavy doses of exploration, action, puzzles, and resource management.
Enhanced production value: Highly detailed graphics and effects, providing a brand new experience for players of the first game.
Collect and combine, use various items to solve puzzles.
Evolved combat system: Fight your way out with a dagger, submachine gun, shotgun, and grenades.
Choose your weapon to counter different enemies, plan your strategy, seek their weak points, and destroy their defenses. Except for ordinary zombies, all kinds of mutated monsters have joined the battle too: Heavily armored Bone Fiend, regenerating Blood Fiend, approaching Boomlad.
Epic boss fights. Engaging plot, fun brain teasers. Players need to make an ultimate choice: Two escape routes will lead you to two different endings. Casual, Normal, and Expert difficulties for you to choose, suited to all players.

It's the sequel of our last game, the survival horror thriller Heaven Dust. (Stand-alone story that does not require playing the previous game.)
Story
After a press conference, a virus leakage incident breaks out in the mysterious First Research Center.
In the meantime, deep inside of the institute, Steve wakes up from his freeze pod.
He finds himself trapped in a living hell, surrounded by preying walking deads, again.
Following the guidance, he must fight his way out of all the ferocious monsters.
When hope shines its light, the dreadful truth is also approaching...
"Are you ready to escape from the hell again, Steve?
Or should I call you... 'Second Host'."

Fixed some mistakes and typos in the texts (For example, the tips you can get from the statue in the hall);
Fixed some issues will prevent players from getting some achievements;

Finally, "Heaven Dust" is available and the first day is over already.
First of all, we want to thank all of you. During the development of this game, we have always received the attention and support of many of you. We are also very grateful to all of you who bought the game for the first time, thank you for your encouragement, approval and criticism.
We've got an update to fix the minor bugs in the first version, so here's the change log:

Adjusted the aiming system, now zombies are easy to be aimed at.
Fixed the achievement issues. Some achievements cannot be unlocked in the older versions, now the issue should have been fixed.
BTW, we will appreciate a lot if you can leave a review on Steam after playing, it will really help us a lot.

Hey, everybody, it really takes us a long time to prepare launching Heaven Dust on Steam. And now, we are happy to announce that you will be able to play it on February 27th, which is not a far future, right?
Heaven Dust will come with English, German, Russian and Chinese version at first. We are still working on its Japanese localization and will make an update asap.

As you see, Heaven Dust is deeply inspired by the classical famous game Resident Evil (or Bio Hazard in Japan). The developers are the big fans of it, so they try to use a similar theme and some ideas. But the story, puzzles and most of the design are definitely new. So you may find some familiar taste and a totally new fresh experience in Heaven Dust.
At the beginning of the game, players will find themselves waking up in a strange mansion full of horrible zombies and deadly traps. What you need to do is collecting helpful items, solving innovative puzzles, fighting with zombies and trying to find out what happened.
In 1970, a scientific investigation team found a new virus in the blood samples from a primitive tribe called "Torkue" in New Guinea. Some scientists think it will help to reveal the secret of immortality and they called it "Heaven Dust". However, it turns out that it's not really a gift from Heaven, it opens the gate to hell instead.
After the research center in New Guinea was destroyed in an accident related to the mutant virus, they brought "Heaven Dust" to the USA, then the researches were carried out entirely by their subsidiary company StarDust.
A disaster is just unfolding...
