- Enemy lairs and hordes close to your base now have far fewer enemies, while those far away have slightly more. This gives the player easier fight options if they need it.
- At the start of the game, you will encounter roaming pitchfork farmer hordes in addition to the other horde types (such as goblins) since peasants are pretty easy to mow down. However, they give less gold per kill.
- Pitchfork farmers now do much more damage, attack more often, and have slightly more health allowing them to be more useful at low levels. This way if the player wipes out it is easier to recover, and also makes them viable combat units and not just fodder.
- Player starts with more population at the start of the game, so new players can withstand a few losses without running out.
- Higher level units take half as much steel to recruit or upgrade to. This lets the player recover strong armies or individually lost units more easily. It was so expensive before high level units still cost a lot to purchase directly.
- Player starts with a larger starting army limit. This reduces difficulty for new players by reducing player aggro, without affecting end-game difficulty.
- The player now does slightly less melee damage to account for the greater attack speed vs. other weapons. Previously the player was able to kill the majority of enemies by himself.
- Horde and lair battles now give more experience, making an under-leveled player able to grind them and be rewarded even if there are not many enemies.
- Add gameplay tab option to disable screen turning grey at player low health.
