2026.1 MEGA UPDATE

Finally,

The update is ready. During last weeks I've been working like a beast to materialize this massive update that brings the game to where I really whanted to be.

You can tell by the review number that this game flopped on Steam, thanks to Xbox users the game could last a bit longer but never fully develop to what it was meant to be. So with previous and this update I can consider it now finished.

Consider this update a sign of gratitude to all the ones to purchased the game.

There are a couple of small things that I plan to fix and after summer and I'll do the console port.

Afterwards, I'll focus back in my Initial D game where i've so much pending, including a crazy hardware machine meant to change how racing games are developed,

If you enjoy the game please reveiw it on Steam, thank you.

So, for this update:

INPUT SYSTEM

  • Rebuilt from the ground up, no more weird input device identification issues.

  • New key rebind system.

  • Should work with joysticks and steering wheels, untested.

TANK BEHAVIOUR

  • Long range shots

  • Enhanced combat behaviour, this is specially noticeable in open maps.*

  • Machinegun use against tanks aswell as against infantry.

  • New helicopter AI.

  • Raised AI limit to 40. [When you rank up to 19, limit is 128 (too much!)] As a rule of thumb, urban map 20-25 AI. Forest, Desert, Snow maps 30-60 max. (will add ingame recommendation)

*Still some issues in urban maps where they may get stuck. They will self kill in those cases.

INFANTRY

  • Infantry can be setup in AI menu, OFF or in steps of 4 up to 20 per team.

  • Each 4 squad has ATGM, RPG, Sapper, machinegunner.

  • Can mount IFV, or vehicles with mount spots. *Mount position for some vehicles still needs polish like the Land Rover. Will fix.

  • Exposed mounted infantry can be shot while in the carrier.

  • Infantry will scape vehicle when heavily damaged or destroyed.

  • On transport request, if delivered to deploy zone will deliver a power up.

  • On getting solo due to teammates killed can squad up etc...

  • Infantry in survival can be enabled disabled from options menu before entering the match.

SHIBUYA MAP

  • Mastercraft by NIMIKO Studio. 1:1 stunning model of Shibuya area.

  • Featuring narrow and wide streets, choose the appropiate tank for the kind of combat you plan.

  • Map has hidden surprisses too, havefun.!!

*Do not put more than 20 AI on this map or may feel cramped.

PAINTSHOP

  • Significant upgrade in behaviour. Much faster decal loading. (Remember you can bring in your custom decals!)

  • Color gradients.

  • Alpha gradient. (combinable with color gradient)

  • One button export to Workshop of your custom Skin!

  • Paint bleeding when painting the sides of a hull fixed. No more bleed to the top area of the hull.

  • No tank will glitch anymore during painting. Heavily tested. Let me know otherwise.

  • Full gamepad support !

WOKSHOP

  • Workshop support for custom skins and preset matches.

  • Custom skins can be used in online matches, other players wi'll see them as lon gas they're uploaded to Workshop. Other users will see them automatically.

  • Private workshop skins can be used online so other users see it but have no access to it.

  • There are a miriad of match combinations, ocasionally you will hit one that is epic, now you can save it to play anytime and even share it via workshop.

After a match, go to the Content Manager accesible from the Main Menu and hit "SAVE LAST MATCH". Map, tank selection, match settings, map settings, everything needed to replay the match as you did is serialized. You can aswell upload to workshop in a single click.

  • To replay a saved match simply hit PLAY in content manager and you'll be led straight to the battlezone.

  • Preset matches supports custom skins. You can share a match with custom skins that are uplaoded to workshop. If theese are later deleted the match will still be playable with default skins.

  • Match presets are gated per player rank aswesll as in case they contain DLC tanks.

CONTENT MANAGER

A one stop manager to visualize and manage content for the game. Filter skins by faction, tank, filter items by type, visualize details, unsuscribe, upload to workshop or delete tehm for good.

General view

After you subscribe to an item, it should sortly after be displayed in the Content Manager.

  • New POWERSHOT pickup. You'll love it.

  • Improved pickup feedback on UI.

  • Reset settings option, this will factory reset user setting, no player data, progress is lost.

  • Reset Steam Progress. Under Misc, in Options, Will only be available when options are called from Main Menu. This will delete your achievements and progress and will efectivelly reset the game as if you just purchased. If you ranked to the max It feels great to paly from start more over in current state, recommended.

  • Survival now has a timer in between waves.

  • AI behaviour in Survival is enhanced, they communicate each other and infantry can tell where you're . No more camp.

  • You can now expand the map with G key and visualize where everyone is.

  • Bot names reworked. Will aswell display in localized writting in some system languages.

  • Shots now leave a subtle trail that is more visible when shooting a POWERSHOT.

  • You can stop time in PHOTO MODE and move around the frozen battle.

  • D-pad menu navigation.

  • There are a miriad of small changes all over the game.

USE OF AI

  • Since people seem sensitive to the use of AI, In the Shibuya map 3 video animations and one icon are generated using AI. That's it. The rest of thousands of art and music assets are handcrafted. If that is an issue For you, do not play in the new map or uninstall the game.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • There are are a few terms that are yet pendint translation. Coming soon.

  • In photo mode upon game over no stats are show and ALT+F4 must be used, sorry. Add a high kill number to avoid this and exit manually. Found too late.

  • Untested on the Steam Deck, the game ran perfectly on previous build but the Shibuya map is not tested, may be slow.

    ENJOY!
