Hello Immortals!
As we're getting closer and closer to the game's full release, we have a request to ask of you 👉🏻👈🏻
To secure our release build, we're looking for players to play the game, crash our servers and hunt pesky bugs that we may have missed. Being a small team working on a game for big groups makes it hard to sweep completely, so we'd love the help! That also means that you'll get to see some of the new content we're working build before anyone else. 👀
What:
Testing new features and helping us find bugs.
Where:
The playtest is happening on a Beta branch of the Steam Demo, to access it:
Download Steam Demo > Steam Library > Right click on Steam Demo > Properties > Game versions and beta > Select Beta
When:
For the foreseeable future, we'll be hosting playsessions every day between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EDT) and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (EDT).
The game will only be available to play during the allocated time.
NEW FEATURES:
New Relic System: since launch, players have been vocal about what works and doesn't work with the relics. We've thought about it a lot and decided to revamp the system entirely: Relics will now be less luck-based, and will rely a lot more on players experimentations to find powerful combinations. Runs will become more different from each other, which was one of our goals. The Relics as you knew them have all been replaced with new powers that will bring a lot more replayability to the game.
New weapon: Scepter of Charity! It's a mid to long range specialist weapon, and it adds a new status effect to the game: BLIND!
First Time User Experience: The tutorial has been reworked, again. People were too confused so we've stopped throwing them into a run and tried to make trainings more obvious.
Note that changing the Relics means that many other game mechanics are also changing: Co-Strikes, Ordeals, Perks... there's too many changes to list here, so I'll post them in the comments if you want to dissect them!😅
DISCLAIMER:
While we want to gather your feedback, note that there's a good chance we won't have time to improve everything before launch. That said, we still want to hear your thoughts now so that we know in advance what needs improvement for post-launch updates.
Also, all progress made during the Beta test will not be kept for the full release.
BUG HUNT :
We really need all the help we can get to find bugs and issues in the game (and there's probably quite a few...). We do lots of internal testing, but history has shown us that NO ONE knows how to encounter game breaking bugs better than y'all, real players (not that devs aren't real, but that's besides the point). We need your help to send us bug reports and logs whenever you see something weird happening in the game, whether minor or major: doesn't matter, please send the bug reports our way [[/b]here]! It will help us a lot with the troubleshooting and stability fixes prior to launch 🙏🏻
