I have a couple of announcements this time. It’s probably going to end up more like a blog type post so please bear with me here.
First of all, the Christmas DLC: “A Very Kimi Christmas” is now released and available for free to owners of Space Fox Kimi. It’s a short, silly, non-canon story about the foxes’ first Christmas on Earth. I wanted to release this in time for Christmas, but a last minute trip overseas made that impossible. Hopefully you’ll still like it.
Second, I’m afraid this DLC will be the last one I’ll be releasing for the foreseeable future. While I would love make other DLC to flesh out other aspects of the story and universe, I am a solo indie game developer with bills to pay, and unfortunately free DLC doesn’t really help with that. So with that in mind, I will be moving onto my next game (more on this later). Thank you for understanding.
Thirdly, a bit of good news. I am a new developer and this is my first game, and I realized that it was more important for more people to play my game and give feedback. As such Space Fox Kimi will be permanently discounted to $0.99 USD effective immediately (if you still see it as $4.99 please wait for Steam to update the price). If you do play my game, please let me know about anything you liked or disliked about it, be it story, gameplay, level design, anything. I am also looking for feedback on what my next game should be. Some of you have expressed interest in a sequel to Space Fox Kimi, and that is one option. I also have plans for a completely different story that’s modern-fantasy themed.
