Hey guys! We are heading straight for December - and with that to the release of Everreach: Project Eden! This is a very, very exciting time for me and the whole team here at Elder Games, and I can't wait to see you all playing the game that we worked on so hard over the last three years!
But now it's time to introduce you with the new "Secret Eden Log" to the "Who is Who" on planet Eden:
Eager to support her family and secure them a better home, a young Nora Harwood enlisted as security for EverReach, a mega-corporation focused on designing luxury space colonies away from the crowded ruin of Earth. Now the youngest squad leader in the force, she receives an unusual mission; find out why Eden, the first colony on a livable planet, went off the grid. She arrives to find chaos: a strange mutiny, a mass slaughter, a colony under siege, and a mysteriously silent EverReach. Nora will need every ounce of her bravery, strength, and wits to survive and protect those she has come to save...
When Nora arrives on Eden, she’s soon split up from her squad and lacking backup; luckily, help is available in the form of the oddest little drone on the planet. A Compact Function Extra-terrestrial Assistant Robot – also known as a CFEAR - 73-Q offers a wide variety of technical tools and skills to get Nora out of (or into!) any number of scrapes. She also offers an even wider variety of terrible jokes and awkward moments thanks to her defective personality module.
As Earth fell to pieces, Abigail turned her gaze to the stars, enlisting in EverReach’s security forces not only to see the galaxy, but to help the company find and build new homes out there. But when a strange mutiny threatens the colony of Eden, it will take all her strength to protect her new home and the people in it, and only Nora may be able to help her.
One of the top independent reporters at GlobalView News, Julian was invited to Eden to watch as the colony was constructed and report back on its wonders to an excited population back home on Earth. Instead, he got a front row seat to a harrowing bloodbath, and is now trapped with the remaining survivors. Still, he can’t shake the feeling that EverReach may be more responsible for the disaster than they let on...
Nora’s oldest and dearest friend from Earth, Jay joined EverReach Security at the same time as her. More cut out for mechanics than soldiering, he happily follows Nora’s lead on every mission… until they are separated during the task force’s arrival on Eden. Will he survive the nightmare without Nora’s help? And what will be left of him by the end of it?
