It's time for our first quality of life update!
We've appreciated all the kind words and messages we have received through Steam, Twitter, Facebook, email, and elsewhere. We've taken some of that feedback and fixed a few things to improve your gameplay experiences!
- Slime traps were not quick restarting the level like other hazards. We have changed this to help smooth things out and make restarting a level easier.
- Pressing Esc. when the pause menu is open will now save any updated sound/music options. Previously you had to click one of the options menu buttons to resume, restart or quit the level for a save to happen.
- When in windowed mode, the window will no longer re-position to the center of your screen after every restart or new level. The window will still do this in the options menu to make adjusting resolution easier.
- On rare occasions the game was allowing players to skip levels they had not completed. This would break the "play next" button that would show up at the end of the level, forcing players back to the level select screen to choose the next level. This could be fixed by making sure to go back and complete any unfinished levels. We've put in some protections to hopefully prevent this from happening to anyone else, but it has been a hard bug to replicate. Let us know if this continues to happen.
