Public Testing update 0430-CL2283

Build 0430-CL2283

Public Testing branch

Changes since the last main update.

New

  • Utility: universal ammo bag

  • Picture-in-Picture scope option (see settings -> Gameplay). Currently working on the Razor 6x, CQBSS, Specter4x scopes. If you change it at runtime, unequip/equip your weapon!

  • Indoor/outdoor detection for gunfire audio: dynamically detects how enclosed a space is. Gunfire indoors is more loud, outdoors have longer tail/falloff. Initial content done for most weapons, not for suppressed weapons yet.

  • Add illumination toggle to the PKS scope (Z)

  • GPS watch: add a beep when a jammer first comes into range (the blinking green dot)

  • Ops: New version of the NPC force director that controls how often/when different squad types can spawn from bases, in solo play AI settings there's an option to choose between low/medium/high enemy resources. Send feedback to help us tune!

Edits & Tweaks

  • Ops: make the intel laptop and notebook beep less harsh

  • Ops: play a radio message when exfil starts

  • AI: separate 'enemy spotted' shout from other contact sounds, they haven't necessarily seen a target

  • Don't land AI reinforcement helis at safehouses or on top of other reinfo helis

  • Added GPS icons for reinforcement helis

  • Ops: spread out NPC reinforcement spawns better inside the faction area of control

  • Ops: tweak the enemy capture director to spread out the capture squads better

Fixes

  • Solo Play loadout screen overflow, was not scrollable with many weapon presets

  • Solo play: VIP and Seek and Destroy scenarios sometimes assigned invalid team due to multiplayer settings leaking into single player

  • GPS watch objective locator sometimes stayed lit after leaving objective range

  • Remove delay when spawning into the firing range (there's no briefing), would show spectator view with nothing to spectate

  • XM7 was emitting shell casings from somewhere below the grip

Known Issues

  • PiP scopes are showing "through" thermal vision
