Your EVE character is an intrinsic part of the community, beauty, and history of the EVE universe. Your actions have meaning, resonating across a population of hundreds of thousands. Celebrate your character’s role in writing history while making history of your own.
On March 31st, CCP Games will collect the names of all main characters on accounts with active subscriptions. These names will then be etched in the base of the “Worlds within a World” EVE Monument, a five-meter tall steel and stone sculpture built to stand the test of time. The monument will be unveiled at Fanfest 2014 and an online app will be made available so that those not planning to visit Iceland any time soon can search for and see their character’s name carved permanently into the monument’s base.
The EVE Monument is a celebration of the past ten years of history-making gaming and the start of a new decade of amazing things to come. It is a Thank You to our player community and to the city of Reykjavik where it all began. It is where the immortals of our world are about to be immortalized in yours.
