Bloodthirsty capsuleers,

Blood Raiders are about to flood across New Eden once more, as the Crimson Harvest arrives on 6 October. This time around, they have developed a taste for Triglavian blood, and are using the recent instabilities in the nature of space to access Pochven. The Order of St. Tetrimon is doing everything within its power to stop the Blood Raiders expanding their reach, and the Triglavians are trying to re-establish stability while repelling these invaders.

The Blood Raiders’ plan appears to be to establish a permanent foothold in Pochven. Meanwhile, the Order of St. Tetrimon is trying to re-establish the dominance of the faithful in Amarr space. It is time for capsuleers to choose a side in the conflict.

The Crimson Harvest will run until 3 November, bringing combat and hacking challenges to New Eden, with opportunities for capsuleers at every level of experience. Complete these challenges to progress along the seasonal reward track, claim daily login rewards, and hunt for valuable loot, including new officer modules, Blood Raider and Order of Tetrimon SKINs, boosters, cerebral accelerators, SKINR components, and more. At the end of the seasonal track, a brand-new prize is waiting: a blueprint for the new Akoman Blood Raider attack battlecruiser, which will, for now, only be obtainable as a part of the Crimson Harvest event.

Two Sides of a Triangle

Once again, capsuleers must decide whether to support the Blood Raiders or the Order of St. Tetrimon, earning points on a seasonal reward track, determined by their allegiance. Each path offers different SKINs: on the Blood Raider side you get Blood Raider SKINs for the Damavik, Vedmak, Drekavac, and Leshak hulls, while choosing the Order of St. Tetrimon means you can deck out the Nergal, Kikimora, Ikitursa, and Leshak with Order of Tetrimon SKINs. These SKINs also have a possibility of dropping from Crimson Harvest event sites.

This year, however, the conflict has even higher stakes. Instabilities in Pochven have opened new connections across New Eden, and the Blood Raiders are attempting to take advantage of this. Their forces are pushing into Pochven in search of Triglavian blood, while Tetrimon forces move to contain the Blood Raider expansion.

The Triglavians have challenges of their own for capsuleers. Criterion Ciphers that grant access to new Criterion of Fitness sites can be recovered while taking on Crimson Harvest combat and exploration sites. These timed solo combat encounters have the possibility to grow increasingly dangerous as capsuleers progress through three waves, with faster victories earning more points, greater challenges, and bigger rewards. Those who distinguish themselves may even draw out one of three powerful adversaries.

Returning Crimson Gauntlet and Tetrimon Base combat sites can also erupt into unexpected confrontations as Triglavians, Drifters, or Rogue Drones emerge through unstable rifts. As was the case last year, even combat sites in highsec can escalate into tougher encounters with greater rewards.

Enter the Hollow Outbreak

Not every outbreak from last year’s Crimson Harvest was eradicated.

Blood Raider searches for clone blood have uncovered the remnants of Hollow Outbreak sites among destroyed Avalanche wrecks. These encounters return in three levels of difficulty, giving capsuleers fresh out of the AIR Career Program somewhere to begin, while also offering increasingly dangerous challenges for more experienced pilots.

Class 1 Hollow Outbreaks can be found in highsec, wormholes, and Pochven, and are accessible to Tech I frigates. Class 2 sites can appear in highsec, lowsec, Pochven, and wormholes, with Tech II frigates and Tech I destroyers, as well as anything below, able to enter. The most dangerous Class 3 Hollow Origin sites can be found in lowsec, where capsuleers can take Tech III tactical destroyers into the fight.

Hacking sites also return throughout New Eden, including more challenging sites in Blood Raider controlled systems in the Delve region, as well as the Eugidi, Angils, and Essin constellations. Keep an eye out for Triglavian containers among them. Their contents can include particularly rare and valuable loot.

The Conflict Spreads

New Pochven-style wormholes are set to appear in traditional Blood Raider regions of lowsec and nullsec, defended by Triglavian, Blood Raider, or Tetrimon forces. Their defenses escalate over time, sending increasingly dangerous roaming forces into the surrounding system.

Blood Raider and Tetrimon forces will also roam Pochven itself, while event sites will reach wormhole space, giving capsuleers living beyond known space opportunities to join the harvest.

And wherever capsuleers clash outside highsec, destruction will be especially lucrative. During the Crimson Harvest, 90% of items from ships destroyed in PvP will drop as loot outside highsec, while destroyed capsules will have a 50% chance to surrender their implants.

Be prepared, because the Crimson Harvest will ramp up as October draws to a close. More will be revealed as the final week approaches.

Reap the Rewards

Every challenge you complete brings you closer to the greatest prize on the seasonal track: a blueprint for the Akoman, a new Blood Raider attack battlecruiser making its debut during the Crimson Harvest. As the first pirate attack battlecruiser, the Akoman will carry the battleship-sized weaponry its class is known for and pair it with quintessential Blood Raider design: taking everything its target has. Pilots on the wrong end of one will find themselves pinned down and their capacitor running dry well before their armor gives out. And by then, there won’t be much left to fight back with.

But there are more ways to profit from the event. Valuable rewards recovered as loot from NPCs can be traded on the market, giving hunters another reason to scour event sites. In addition, Mutated Blood Sample containers that drop throughout the event can be turned in at a number of item traders for highly desirable rewards including blueprints for new officer modules and existing faction modules, new remote armor repair mutaplasmids, as well as SKINs, SKINR components, boosters, and accelerators.

Logging in throughout Crimson Harvest will also unlock daily rewards, including Blood Raider and Order of Tetrimon SKINs for Triglavian ships, boosters, cerebral accelerators, fireworks crates, and a major Skill Point cache on day 21. Daily login SKINs are soulbound, while boosters are automatically applied when redeemed, and eligible crates can be traded.

Omega pilots can claim both Alpha and Omega daily login rewards. Upgrade to Omega at any point during the Crimson Harvest to retroactively claim the Omega rewards for every day on which the corresponding Alpha reward was already claimed.

Whether cutting your path through combat sites, cracking open hidden containers, fighting through Pochven with a fleet, hunting fellow capsuleers for their loot, or taking your first steps into seasonal events, there will be blood to spill and rewards to claim for the entire month.
