I. New Season First Look: The Battle of the Imperial City Reignites Above the Lake
On September 29, the flames of war will cross familiar walls and arrive at Tenochtitlan—an imperial city guarded by lakes, causeways, bridges, and canals.
This time, you may face more than just a gate that needs breaching. The lakes, causeways, bridges, and canals together form its defense system.
And when the brand-new battlefield mechanic "Divine Descent" activates, the tide of battle will see new shifts. This time, every advantage built up on the battlefield could instantly tip the scales of victory.
Accompanying this new battlefield are three all-new units.
1. Eagle Warriors
Masters of the spear-house, eagles sweeping across the skies.
The 4-star unit, Eagle Warriors, is defined by "hunting, sprinting, and locking down." Their eagle feathers, spears, and distinct tribal war paint give them an intense sense of speed right from their appearance.
2. Jaguar Warriors
Jaguar shadows shatter the formation—nothing is indestructible!
The Jaguar Warriors, also a 4-star unit, point their blades directly at the enemy defense lines. "Dash, breach, and bleed" hint at their highly aggressive combat style.
3. Shorn Ones
The ultimate sacrifice.
The 5-star unit, Shorn Ones, brings a heavier, more resolute battlefield presence. "Charge, counterattack, and hold the line," combined with heavy shields and ceremonial weapon designs, make them look as though they were born for a battle with no retreat.
These three new units together forge a distinctively offensive tone for S28, offering you new strategic possibilities for your rosters. As for their ultimate place on the battlefield, that remains to be seen in actual combat.
The S28 Battle Pass attire will revolve around the Aztec civilization. Feathers, jade, leather, metal, and unique woven fabrics come together to create the all-new seasonal garments.

Meanwhile, seasonal weapon attire themed around the Aztec civilization will also make its debut.
