The map of the Three Kingdoms lies open before you. But beyond the battles, what else is worth seeing in this chaotic era?
Hulao Pass, ancient Longzhong, Jianmen Pass, Jingzhou... You may have come across these names in novels, films, or games. Now, they are brought to life in the world of Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms. You are no longer just traversing a map; you are stepping into the very places where history was made.
Here, you might encounter familiar historical figures, such as the ambitious warlord Cao Cao and the notoriously fierce Lu Bu. You may also witness classic Three Kingdoms events, such as the famous Oath of the Peach Garden.
The brand-new [Realm Chronicles] Three Kingdoms exploration Codex will soon be available in the upcoming Conqueror's Blade: Three Kingdoms. Think of it as your field guide to the region—every historical site you visit, Province you unlock, local specialty you collect, and combat merit you earn will be recorded. This time, there's no need to rush headlong into battle. There is much to discover amidst the rivers and mountains.
1. Provinces as Chapters: Recreating the Three Kingdoms Realm
The [Realm Chronicles] divides the entire map into distinct exploration chapters based on the Provinces and key battlefields of the Three Kingdoms. The locations of legendary events will naturally reveal themselves as you journey through them.
No tedious unlocking is required. Jump right in to view the complete map: at Hulao Pass, behold the steep chokepoint where Warlords once clashed; at Jingzhou, study the fortifications of this vital river stronghold...
Every historically recreated landmark features detailed exploration clues and background lore.
2. Four Aspects: Reliving an Era of Chaos
The Codex tracks your journey across four distinct aspects, seamlessly blending historical lore with battlefield gameplay:
Visit Historical Sites: Travel to landmarks like Hulao Pass, ancient Longzhong, and Jingzhou. Experience famous events like the Three Heroes Fighting Lu Bu and the Longzhong Plan, and unlock hidden storylines.
Gather Regional Specialties: Rare herbs from the mountain paths of Shu, abundant goods from the Central Plains, and unique items from the Jiangnan waterways—collect local resources to build the foundation for your conquests.
Defend Your Territory: Engage in border skirmishes, city sieges, and chokepoint standoffs. Protect your Commanderies and shoulder the burden of leadership as you keep your lands and people safe.
Forge Your Legacy: Accept military and political assignments. Take part in city construction, territorial expansion, and faction rivalries to leave your permanent mark on the map.
The Codex also features a real-time progress system. Your exploration, unlocks, collections, and merits are visible at a glance. Light up the entire map to watch your rise from recruit to conquering Warlord.
3. Hidden Easter Eggs: Discovering Exclusive Encounters
Beyond the main exploration goals, the [Realm Chronicles] hides many easter eggs and encounters. They could be tucked away near historical ruins, tied to famous legends, or hidden in subtle, intriguing map details.
Rather than checking boxes off a list, we hope every Warlord explores this world at their own pace. You might just be updating your progress, only to stumble upon deeply hidden historical echoes:
At the Xu County Plum Pavilion, witness Cao Cao and Liu Bei discussing Heroes over warm plum wine—a casual chat concealing deadly rivalries.
At the Yuanmen Drill Ground, relive Lu Bu's classic "Shooting the Halberd" moment—defusing a battle with a single arrow.

At Xiaoyao Ford, feel the epic thrill as the renowned general Zhang Liao shatters a Wu army of 100,000 with a mere 800 elite troops.
The [Realm Chronicles] also scales with your progression. From first discovering ancient ruins, to carving out your own territory, and finally fighting for supremacy—completing each goal unlocks new progress and achievements.
