Hey there, Fellow Magnates! Welcome back to another exciting regular update on all things Hotel Magnate! This time, we’re diving into some much-anticipated updates to our cleaning and maintenance systems. These changes are designed to give you even more control over your hotels and ensure everything is running smoothly. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty details!
Cleaning Management Progress & Testing
In our previous updates, we've discussed some upcoming changes to our cleaning management system. We're thrilled to announce that these enhancements have now entered the testing phase! The revamped cleaning management will allow you to meticulously assign specific cleaners to designated areas and schedule their cleaning times. This added control is aimed at helping you maintain spotless facilities and prevent potential disasters. We need your invaluable feedback to refine these features, so please join our Discord for more details on testing and to share your thoughts! (read the pinned post in the testing channel)
Here you can see the updated settings for cleaning in the new Room Settings menu. Control the priority of the room, which housekeeping facility is responsible for the room, if there are any incoming cleaners and the ability to change the cleaning schedule
Maintenance Changes
While we’re fine-tuning the cleaning system, we've also been working hard on refining maintenance operations. Say goodbye to the days of automatic maintenance issue reporting. From now on, maintenance problems must be noticed by staff in the affected area before they are reported. This change emphasizes the importance of regular staff patrols to catch issues early. Additionally, you’ll now have the power to manually report and prioritize maintenance tasks, adding another layer of strategy to your management toolkit. Just like the cleaning changes, these updates are crucial steps toward implementing more complex disaster and consequence systems in the future.
That's all for this update, Magnates! We hope you’re as excited as we are about these new features. Don't forget to hop onto our Discord to participate in testing and provide feedback. Until next time, happy hotel building!
