Hey there, fellow Magnates! Welcome back to another update on Hotel Magnate. This fortnight, we've got a lineup of updates that will surely keep you on your toes. From interactions between Day Guests to squashing pesky bugs, and even a sneak peek into what's on the horizon, there's plenty to dive into. So, let's jump right in and see what's cooking in the world of Hotel Magnate!
Day Guests / Groups:
It's no surprise that we've been diving into the realm of Day Guests and Guest Groups. We've been busy polishing up animations to make guest interactions even more lively and immersive. Imagine guests strolling hand in hand or sharing a laugh together as they explore your meticulously designed hotel. Plus, we've been fine-tuning the mechanics to allow multiple guests to stay in a room, ensuring your accommodations are always bustling with activity. And to top it off, we have been working on the UI, making it easier than ever to keep track of who's part of a group.
Bug Fixing / Optimisations:
While we're eagerly waiting to unveil new animations, we've been tackling some pesky bugs and optimizing the game for smoother performance. From guests finding themselves in rooms they shouldn't be in, to ensuring they prioritize room accessibility. Plus, we're addressing issues like wonky sliding door animations and guests piling up/stacking at certain points, ensuring your hotel runs like a well-oiled machine. With these and some usual performance optimizations, your hotel management experience will be more seamless than ever before!
Future Update Designing:
But wait, there's more! We're already gearing up for our next big update, and this time, we're diving into the world of disasters and consequences. Picture this: fire outbreaks or vermin infestations wreaking havoc in your pristine establishment. It's all about the consequences of neglecting maintenance and cleanliness or any other system. We're still in the brainstorming phase and would love to hear your thoughts on what consequences should be included. Floods? Food poisoning? The possibilities are endless, and we're excited to hear your ideas! Drop us a comment here, join the discussion on Steam, or hop onto our Discord server to share your suggestions.
