Upgrade your ships' weapon systems with both standard and overloaded disrupters!. These direct fire weapons do not do as much damage to enemy ships as your torpedoes, but they travel much faster... and they get a boost in power each time you upgrade your weapons level. Great for sniping at the random pirate ships you will encounter!
Disrupters can be purchased from The Junkyard if you have a high enough influence level with the station... and all family bonuses that effect the photon launchers will also improve your disrupters. Your weapon will automatically upgrade as you increase your weapons level (up to a max of 4 at weapons level 5)… Once you have 50 ship kills, you will be able to buy the hot pink disrupters...
Other stuff:
- random clues were added to help on quests to find lost family members. The name of the flower race and the quadrant of the starbase they are located on are now stored on the player status page as the information is gathered in the game.
- changed a few more graphic items...
