Greetings, Rangers!
This new update brings a useful new area to the Citadel, changes how Sentinel runs play out and introduces several bug fixes to the game.
----
The Training Grounds
The inhabitants of the Citadel have setup a rag-tag but quite useful zone to the south that will allow you rangers to safely draw your weapons and practice your swings, throws and attacks! Simply enter the area to automatically draw your weapons and get familiar with the controls before stepping into the portal where the real danger lies!

The Sentinel Runs
In the past, a Sentinel run would happen like so;
Tier 1 Sentinel combat
Tier 1 Sentinel combat
Tier 1 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Citadel
This was problematic for newer players who would have a hard time defeating even the first Sentinel and, when they did, they had two more to fight before reaching the first reward chest and checkpoint.
We had to think of a solution to make defeating your very first Sentinel feel like the satisfying achievement that it is, without making things too easy for experienced players. As such, we've now changed the run layout to this new format;
Tier 1 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Tier 1 Sentinel combat
Tier 1 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Tier 2 Sentinel combat
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Tier 3 Sentinel combat
Obsidian Gate + Reward Chest
As such, new players will feel less discouraged by the starting difficulty and pushing your luck past the first sanctuary makes more sense now.

The Dash VFX
In Mirador, you spend a whole lotta time dashing around. Dashing to the Portals, dashing to dodge mean Sentinels trying to turn you into a patty, dashing because dashing is just darn fun! Depending on where you land at the end of your dashing, your eyes can now marvel at the beautiful new effects of splashing water of clouding dust!
----
Updated Loot Bag display
Your lootbag no longer shows empty boxes where there isn't loot and we added a new inventory button that will take you to your Steam inventory, showing all Mirador loot you currently own!
Oh, you can also change pages in the loot bag now, if you've gathered enough to fill up the first one.
----
Better Mouse & Keyboard support
We've drastically improved mouse & keyboard support in all menus of the game, making it considerably easier to navigate when not using a controller!
----
Dash, Shield, Boomerang & Attack towards mouse .. or not!
One piece of feedback that we heard often from you folks was that amongst other things, when playing with a keyboard & mouse, you'd like to be able to dash towards wherever you're currently walking towards, rather than towards the mouse. So now you can!
In the options, you can now decide whether you dash towards the mouse or not, but also whether you attack, throw the boomerang and block towards the mouse or not.

Fixes & Tweaks
- Added a warning when changing language instructing players to restart the game.
- Fixed an issue where players were able to click on "Collect loot" even if the button was greyed out.
- Improved performance on the dash VFX.
- Removed HUD FX on non-interactable icons with the mouse. We hope you enjoy and keep the feedback coming!
