Pilots!
This is a big one for us—as a company and as a team. Here at Wargaming, we love war games, but we loathe war. Over the past year and a half, we've been especially sensitive to the war in Ukraine, as one of our studios still operates from Kyiv. They work hard on developing and maintaining World of Warplanes, delivering features and events to World of Tanks, and producing incredible amounts of artistic content for all our games. All that despite the horrors their country is enduring every single day.
Starting today, we welcome our community across six of our games to unite around this global initiative. World of Warplanes, World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Tanks Modern Armor, World of Warships, and World of Warships: Legends—each game will feature special Ukraine-themed bundles with customization elements crafted by the artists at our Kyiv studio. With these time-limited offers, not only will you show your support, but you will also get valuable in-game content.
For World of Warplanes, we have prepared three bundles that you can purchase to participate. The Antonov M Masha is a true Ukrainian aircraft in World of Warplanes—a mighty, speedy, and beautiful Tier IX fighter to rule the skies! Make your choice: an emblem for all your aircraft inspired by the coat of arms of Ukraine; a unique decoration set for the Antonov M, created specifically for the WargamingUnited project; or the largest support package that includes all the options above, as well as the warplane itself. World of Warplanes has been developed entirely by our Kyiv studio for over a decade and is still actively worked on by the team in the capital of Ukraine. For more details, please visit our website.
We will donate 100% of proceeds* from sales of each WargamingUnited bundle to UNITED24, the official fundraising platform of Ukraine, for them to buy Type C ambulances that will take on the duty of saving lives.
The bundles are available for purchase from October 18 at 10:00 UTC through November 1 at 11:20 UTC.
You can also visit the WargamingUnited website to learn about offers from our sister games.
Let's unite to support the people of Ukraine!
*From October 18 through November 1, 2023, Wargaming will donate 100% of the purchase price of each WargamingUnited bundle towards Medical Aid via UNITED24, less (i) any chargebacks or refunds, (ii) applicable value added, sales, or use taxes, or other similar taxes, (iii) applicable transaction fees of payment service providers, and (iv) applicable fees of third-party distribution platforms (e.g., mobile or game console marketplaces).
