The world you know looks different today. Radiant Wilds is here, refreshing Albion’s open world with a sweeping visual overhaul, along with performance improvements and new systems that reshape how you prepare, fight, and explore. As you travel across the land, each region carries a clearer identity, combat feels more responsive, and new ways to build and test your playstyle open up as you move from one challenge to the next. Step in and feel the difference!
See the World Anew
Every region in Albion now carries a stronger visual identity. Light glimmers and shines across the landscape, casting clearer contrasts and shaping how each biome feels. Water reflects the sky and its surroundings, ground textures feel more physical underfoot, and vegetation adds depth to every path you take.
Every journey you take now carries a stronger sense of place. Swamps feel more humid, steppes more exposed and windswept, and forests denser and more alive. Leaves and petals drift on the breeze, shadows shift across the ground, and the world moves subtly around you. Step off the beaten path and take a moment to take it all in.
A Smoother Journey
Radiant Wilds doesn’t just change how Albion looks, it changes how it feels to engage with it. Through a number of performance improvements, combat is smoother and more responsive, even as fights grow massive and more chaotic.
The way the game handles visual effects and world elements has been refined to reduce interruptions and keep things flowing, and new UI elements offer more information about your connection. Meanwhile, enhanced controller support brings smoother navigation, clearer menus, and more intuitive targeting. Whether you’re tending to your island or charging into battle, experiencing the world of Albion is smoother than ever before.
Rise to the Challenge
This update also opens up new ways to prepare, experiment, and step into combat with confidence. The Armory helps you discover effective builds based on real gameplay data, making it easier to find loadouts that perform well in the content of your choosing. Set your criteria, survey your options, and switch between builds with a couple of clicks – then step out into the world with confidence.
Put those builds to the test in the new 1v1 Arena, a structured, ranked solo PvP mode where timing, positioning, and decision-making take center stage. A new Crystal Arena map also refreshes 5v5 combat, introducing new layouts and opportunities to outmaneuver your opponents.
Improvements across core systems make everyday gameplay smoother as well. The Destiny Board is clearer and easier to navigate, looting is faster with a new Take All option, and additional changes like Battle Mount Disarray and party leave protection help maintain balance on the battlefield.
