Polishing Your Islands – Update 1.0.4
Hello everyone,
with Update 1.0.4, we mainly focused on many small and large issues that were affecting your experience in the game.
This update is primarily about bug fixes, stability, performance, and overall polish.
⛰️ Terraforming with Undo Function
We fixed several issues related to terraforming. You can now also undo changes as long as the game is paused – including a direct refund of your money.
📷 Camera issues fixed
After loading, the camera no longer starts somewhere in the void, but at the spot you were looking at last. Camera movement is now also more performant.
🖥️ Better display on different resolutions
Issues with image centering, scaling, and special screen formats such as 3840x1200 (32:10) have been fixed.
🔠 Better readability
The font was difficult to read in some places – we improved that. In addition, you can now choose a new font.
📰 News banner runs more smoothly
The text in the news banner now scrolls much more smoothly and less jerkily.
📊 Clearer charts
The 0€ line in the money chart now always remains visible.
👤 Name is now saved
Your chosen player name is now saved and will no longer be replaced by your Steam name every time you restart the game.
🧩 Many more fixes
In addition, we fixed many other smaller issues and made further optimizations in various parts of the game.
