Older devices and 1.10.4
1.10.4 requires the client and server to be the same version to connect.
Android: 32-bit devices cannot update past 1.9.15. Google Play will keep serving that version on those devices.
iOS: the minimum is now iOS 15 (was iOS 11). Devices that cannot update to iOS 15 stay on the last compatible App Store build (1.9.15).
Steam / 32-bit Windows: 1.10.4 is 64-bit only. 32-bit Windows also stays on 1.9.15.
These limits are not a choice to drop older hardware. Google Play and the App Store will not accept a new update unless it meets their current requirements, and those requirements no longer include 32-bit Android or iOS below 15. I can’t publish a newer build for those devices.
If you are on one of those older clients, switch the Steam server back to 1.9.15:
1. Right-click DashPanel in Steam and select Properties.
2. Go to Game Versions & Betas.
3. Choose 1.9.15_32bit (the final 32-bit build).
64-bit Android, iOS 15+, and 64-bit Windows should stay on the default Steam build and update the client to 1.10.4.
I know a lot of you run DashPanel on older phones and tablets as a dedicated dash — that’s a perfectly reasonable setup, and I’m sorry the stores have closed that door for new updates.
