Here's another important change featured in one of the upcoming updates: we completely removed the Karma system. It was a harsh decision to make, but the existing Karma system failed to carry out its mission. It didn't meet our expectations and the game concept.
The main idea is that the world outside safe areas is wrapped up in chaos. It's supposed to be dangerous. The threat must come from the environment as well as from other players. You can't feel safe and snug while leisurely hiking around the postapocalyptic barrens. The feeling of comfort should disappear.
All economic sanctions for player killers will be canceled. Their identification on the map will be removed. Anti-PK zones will become a thing of the past. We consider "respawn wars" to be inappropriate for PvP in our game, so in order to protect players against this thing, we are installing automatic turrets near cities and other strategic locations. Any aggression near cities and safe zones will be immediately punished. Thus, low-level characters will be protected from assaults, and order will be maintained in the mentioned areas.
