Hello adventurers, we've been gathering feedback and bug reports since 2023 to make this patch which should address a wide variety of both obscure and long-standing bugs in the game. Here's the changelist!
- Daily/Weekly challenges should work again on PC!
- Fixed bugs related to Item Dreams getting into a bad state where they would not close, or where you could lose your item
- Footsteps volume issue on Nintendo Switch should be fixed
- The occasionally-lingering "Constrict" effect should no longer do that
- Fixed issue where a monster (like a dragon boss) could not drop loot due to being killed by something unknown
- Fixed issue where stairs in the Ancient Jungle could overlap
- Fixed issue where the HUD state could get messed up with some elements showing and others not
- Fixed bug where Jorito would not teach you an armor mastery, if you learned one in a Wanderer's Journey first (even though those are temporary)
- Added an (hopefully) ironclad preventative measure against pets being lost despite having pet insurance
- Mimics can only eat one weapon per Mimic; before, they could eat two, which would delete the first forever
- Sorting items by rarity should work again
- Fixed bug with Relic info in popups not being displayed properly sometimes (off-by-1 error)
- Player & monster health bars, if enabled, should render at the top layer properly
- Item Dream crystal auras should render at the top layer properly
- Fixed potential soft lock related to loading a game saved in an Item Dream
- Fixed issue with dialog text sometimes getting cut off in dialog boxes, especially talking to the Tree of Memories
- Fixed issue with the dialog box being late to update to the correct vertical size
- Hovering on a Spellshaper evocation on the hotbar should correctly reflect Stamina costs, if any
- Fixed bug where ability cooldowns (particularly Quick Step) could get stuck when going in and out of Wanderer's Journeys
- Fixed bug where if you had a full Dragon Limit, it could get stuck in an infinite full state when going into a Wanderer's Journey
- Hopefully fixed bug where relics were scaled incorrectly in or after Wanderer's Journeys
- Mad Chemist and Mottled Sandjaw enemies should correctly show in the Monsterpedia now
- Autobarrier should now restore itself correctly after a brief delay as intended
- Fixed rare softlock involving Jellyboo's dialog
- It should no longer be possible for the Casino or Tsukida's Den to *not* spawn in a game (you may need to get rumors for them)
If you encounter any problems, the BEST way to report them is via our Discord. We've put in a number of hours QAing these changes and everything seems rock solid, but we'll be monitoring to make sure no new problems arise.
Happy trails!
