Hey everyone!
I'm Chris Dupuis, Exec Producer of Idle Champions here at Codename Entertainment, and I want to take a moment from our regularly scheduled updates to share some exciting news from our studio!
While the Idle Champions team has been working hard on new Champions, bug fixes, and exciting content updates for y'all, another group of talented teammates has been crafting a new game I think our players may enjoy!
Folded Fables: Tidy Up The Dragon Hoard is a new tidy up game with a papercraft visual style inspired by Paper Mario, and it's now available on Steam!
I first discovered the tidy up genre while playing many hours of Super Market Chaos with my daughter this past summer. It was a great way for us to chat and connect while enjoying a relaxing game together. When Eric mentioned we were making a new game in the genre, I was intrigued! Now, as I write this post just ahead of the game's launch, I'm honestly so excited for players to give Folded Fables a try!
Not only is Folded Fables super fun to play, especially as you unlock new powers to help organize piles of fantasy items around a dragon's hoard, but it's gorgeous!
The team drew on years of beautiful hand-drawn artwork from the studio's previous games: Crusaders of the Lost Idols and Bush Whacker 2. They combined that catalog with a new papercraft-inspired environment, complete with a giant folded green dragon named Ivy who keeps a close eye on you as you organize her hoard!
Between the beautiful artwork, cozy environment, and relaxing music, I find myself jumping in to play at night when I want to take my mind off things. If you're like me and Idle Champions provides you with a restful escape from the pressures of the world, I think you might enjoy Folded Fables.
I hope you'll give Folded Fables a try, and enjoy spending time with Ivy as much as I have!
~Chris
