How’s it going, partiers? Cheers to everyone who saw last week’s teaser and already guessed the identity of House Party’s next mystery guest. We figured anyone who saw the picture who was already familiar with them would recognize who it was almost instantly - that tattoo is iconic!
We’re excited to share more details on this awesome guest soon, and we’ll also drop an updated roadmap with tentative release dates in the future! But, in the meantime, here’s some info to keep everyone in the loop about what’s next for House Party.
House Party’s Next Mystery Guest DLC
Since we’ve officially solidified our partnership with House Party’s next mystery guest, we’ll be moving forward with planning their storyline very soon. There’s a bunch of work to be done, but our mystery guest is stoked to join House Party, and we couldn’t be more excited to start working with them to create their DLC!
Quality of Life Updates
When House Party released from Early Access, we promised more base game quality-of-life updates, and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! Our team is constantly working on fixing bugs, fine-tuning gameplay, and optimizing your party experience - and we appreciate everyone who has helped us so far by reporting bugs on our Discord server!
But, what’s more exciting is that, in addition to tweaking the overall game, we plan on doing some small continuity updates down the road for the female player character which will add new minor content and story changes so the female playthrough experience will feel even smoother!
Specifically, in our next quality-of-life update (which we're working on right now), we have some UI tweaks and POV legacy intimacy system updates on the way. Explicit content owners will now be able to access POV legacy intimacy for the new female content and new sequences and poses will be coming soon!
PlayStation
If you follow us on social media, you’ve probably seen that we’ve been looking into porting House Party to PlayStation. We’re glad to announce that those plans are finally solidifying, and we’ll be taking some more concrete steps to bring the party to console!
A few of you have also asked about the availability of explicit, adult-only intimacy content on the console version, and we want to be as transparent as possible about this. While we always try our best to push the boundaries of content as much as we can with our game, we do need to take care to adjust our content to align with what is allowed on specific platforms.
Virtual Reality
Who hasn’t fantasized about playing House Party in VR? We are hard at work bringing the party into virtual reality (we wonder if Rachael will know), and just recently took some big initial steps to make this possible. There’s a lot of work involved with this process, but we can’t wait to share more updates on the VR version of House Party soon!
House Party’s Sequel: Office Party
We haven’t forgotten about House Party’s sequel game, Office Party, either! Alongside everything else keeping our dev team crazy busy, we're also slowly planning, conceptualizing, and laying out the framework for our next game. We can’t wait to share more with everyone!
House Party Clothing DLCs
Last but definitely not least, we haven’t forgotten about all of the community requests we’ve gotten asking for us to add ways for players to customize the appearances of the base game NPCs. We’ve had a number of people asking if we can create different optional Clothing DLCs for the OG House Party characters, and the answer is yeah, brahs, we’d love to do that!
If you have any ideas for outfits you’d like to see in House Party, we’d really appreciate your feedback. Comment below and let us know!
