Hey Everyone,
The campaign pipeline is pretty much done, and I will be starting on levels soon. I dont know when they will be done but when they are I will get them added.
In the mean time I have grapes and wine for you guys! The Vineyard building makes the grapes and the winery makes the wine. I also got to some bugs and did some weather optimization.
Patch Notes:
- Reduced the imprint of the weather effects. More can be done here if needed, but this is a start.
- Fixed a bug that resulted in upgrading buildings giving you money rather than taking it.
- Added the Vineyard, which produce grapes. Vineyards produce grapes slower than farms produce Grain.
- Added Grapes which cost 6 gold per unit. Grapes can be used as food, and as the happiness system matures eventually your people will want more than just grain. That being said its high price makes it less ideal for food, and leaning more toward trade.
- Added Winery, which produces wine. Winery's cost 5 bricks to build.
- Added Wine, right now wine is a basic so it fills the basic good desire of your people eventually units having wine will be happier (drunk). Wine is also a great trade value at 45 gold per unit.
- Units should now shop a bit more intelligently.
- reduced the cost of grain from 4 to 3. I choose to do this because I noticed that 4 wage workers were haveing trouble keeping up with food buying.
- Right clicking a resource in the market's info window will stop the market from gathering it.
- Merchants are a bit smarter about what they gather.
Lastly I made a mistake as a dev that I was unaware of. The issue is fixed now, and will not happen again, but you can read about my short comings here:
