First reviews for Mars Underground are in and they've all been very positive so far!
"The bizarre town of Phobos is a joy to explore, with many places to go and quirky residents to meet.
...
Complimenting the unsettling atmosphere of the town is the astounding sound track: a discordant experimental blend of chiptunes and crunchy EDM sampling.
...
This point-and-click adventure without the pointing and clicking features masterful puzzle design, beautiful presentation, and a cast of colourful characters. Mars Underground is simply a joy to play."
OnlySP (4/5 - Distinction)
"Each character is great fun, written with wit and charm. Some are total jerks, some are literal toilets and others are potential best friends. A lot of the fun of the game lies in discovering new interactions with them and the ways in which they contribute to your journey; some of the conversations are downright hilarious.
...
Just. One. More. Cycle!
If you’re a fan of games with cunning time travel mechanics, you’ll have a great time with this."
PowerUp (8.4/10)
"There is nothing new about using this Groundhog Day concept in a game. There are numerous titles which have done just that. But Mars Underground does set itself apart by inserting the conceit into a layered tale of reality and control. One which will leave players questioning not just what they have experienced, but whether the conclusion they have come to is in fact the reality of what is happening.
...
Mars Underground is a strange and sometimes unnerving game. But in a way which endears itself to the player."
