We’ve been listening to your feedback and have identified the cause of the startup crashes on Windows—UnityCrashHandler.exe. We've now removed it from the latest build, which should allow affected players to launch the game without issues.
What to Do:
Make sure your game is updated, and if you still run into problems, try verifying your game files on Steam. (Uninstall and re-install is one option.)
