Hey players! I’m excited to finally reveal LarsGadiel, a classic-style Metroidvania that I originally created years ago for the NES—but never released. Now, I’m bringing it back to life on PC with a brand-new Pixel Perfect port.
This version takes full advantage of modern screens, offering more details, better visibility, and several gameplay enhancements inspired by the best modern Metroidvanias.
LarsGadiel is a prequel to Xenon Valquirie, visually, it stays faithful to its authentic 8-bit NES roots – same color palette, same resolution – but I’m planning to include an optional visual mode for players who want a slightly different look.
