Wendigo Unavailable in LATAM, MENA, CIS, South Asia

Hi everyone,

We’ve received messages from players in LATAM, MENA, CIS, and South Asia who have found that the game wasn't available for purchase in their region during our farewell sale. We want to be explain about why this is happened and what we’ve done to make sure you can still access the game before it’s delisted.

❗ What’s Happening?

When we set prices in the past, we used Steam’s recommended pricing for each region, this meant that in some areas, the base price was lower.

Now that we’ve applied a 80% farewell discount, the sale price in those regions has fallen below Steam’s minimum allowed transaction price (roughly $0.49). When this happens, Steam automatically disables purchases in those regions for the duration of the discount.

To clarify: it looks like Steam checks discounts against the main USD-tier threshold, but does not check localized prices individually, which caused the issue to appear only after the sale was live.

🧩 Neither We, Nor Steam Can Fix It Mid-Sale

Unfortunately:

We can’t modify a discount once it’s started
Raising the price is blocked during active sales
Canceling the sale and raising the price would trigger a cooldown period, preventing us from offering any further discount before delisting
Steam’s cooldown system is a good safeguard, it is meant to protect all us from sudden pricing changes, but it does mean we’re unable to make adjustments during this short window.

🧭 Possible Solution

To make sure no one is locked out, we’ve made the game available via a Humble Bundle widget for $0.59 (the same price as the Steam discount).

Includes a Steam key – redeemable directly in your library
Same price as Steam – to ensure fair treatment for all players
Available for the affected regions
Will be taken down on July 21, just like the Steam version

THE SALE BUTTON IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

This is the best possible solution we could implement on such short notice to ensure everyone has equal access before the game is removed. Thanks to all of you who reached out and for being part of this chapter with us. PS: We also want to thank the Steam team for replying fast and clear.
