We wanted to take some time and reply to the latest comments and share some news regarding the delisting date.
Seeking Evil: The Wendigo was always meant to be a compact, focused game with optional VR support and the goal of delivering a few good scares, tense moments, and some classic horror fun.
While interest was quiet for a long time (read: non-existent), we’ve seen a surprising wave of attention following the delisting announcement.
This comes as a total surprise to us, so whether you revisited it, picked it up for the first time, or just joined the conversation: thank you. It means a lot.
Some games are made to offer a specific experience, and when that’s done, it’s okay to let them rest. Ours, for the most part, did what we hoped and after many years, we’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye the right way.
The game will be permanently delisted from Steam on July 21 at 12:45 PM PST.
If you own it, it will remain fully accessible in your Steam library, just like before.
7 Day Final Sale
We received quite a lot of requests about a final sale.
For that reason, we’ve applied a final 7-day discount, starting July 14 at 12:45 PM PST. The game will be delisted right after that.
80% is the deepest discount we’re able to set in Steam.
If you purchased the game shortly before the sale and feel caught off guard, you’re welcome to request a refund and repurchase it during the discount window, we completely understand and support this.
