Displacement Studios acquired The Spirit Underneath and performed the following changes:
- decreased the price to $0.99
- removed a not required redistributable
- adjusted the store page and the minimum/recommended hardware specifications
- enabled the Steam Cloud synchronization for savegames
- disabled a disimproving framerate optimization feature
- fixed an issue which does not count any playtime without the use of external software
- added automatic in-game healing when the player gets wounded
