Good news! Germ Wars has just been updated with two major features:
Partial controller support - you can now control your White Blood Cell with your usb controller. The controls can be mapped in the Controls Menu.
German language localization - you can change between English and German in the Options menu.
Steam Achievements have also been localized, and Store page will be localized soon as well.
Minor changes:
*Health perk 2 attachment is not on top now, so all other attachments will not be hidden anymore when selecting that perk
*minor bug fixes
