Hello Miners,

Great news! The ‘Hiring for Hoxxes’ Recruitment Video Competition is live!.

As most of you know, Deep Rock Galactic is always recruiting new Miners to fill the company ranks. Working on Hoxxes is a rewarding yet dangerous undertaking, so to maintain headcount the company needs a steady inflow of new starters. And that is where you come in.

Make a recruitment video of modest length (no longer than 1:30 minute in length), showing potential new recruits why they should join Deep Rock Galactic, and you may win some very handsome rewards: A Steam Deck, a Golden Loot Bug plush, a gaming headset, a dwarven beard wig and a signed poster from Ghost Ship Games. Besides being celebrated by the team at Ghost Ship Games, of course.

What’s that you ask? Is this just an excuse to get players to make an ad video for us? Nonsense! To prove that baseless allegation completely wrong, we have actually made an example video ourselves. Which we will submit for the competition, thank you very much.

We believe no one knows what makes Deep Rock awesome better than you. Which is why we want to see what you’ll come up with. We will showcase all nominees and announce the winner during our Year 5 Anniversary stream.

Oh, and by the way, we are of course having a Year 5 Anniversary stream. More info coming soon!

Submissions close Wednesday, February 22rd, 12 PM BST. Submit your video using the link above.

Rock and Stone!

With Love,
The Ghost Ship Crew

Edit: We have added a Steam Deck to the prize

Edit edit: The past version of this post indicated a modest video length of 0:15-1:00 minute in length. This was a recommended length, the actual terms of the competition state that submissions can't be longer than 1:30 minute. Post is changed to reflect this
