Hello from the pond
Frogs Can Jump has its Steam page, and the frogs are not calm about it.
It's a small, cozy chain-reaction game. Drop one frog onto a lily pad: its ripple launches the frogs nearby, their ripples launch more, and one poke becomes a chain that runs across the whole pond. The longer the chain, the more coins land in your pocket.
How it plays
- Short rounds. You get a few pokes and choose where they go. Then you watch what happens.
- A pond full of upgrades. Coins go into an upgrade tree that is a lily pond of its own: springier legs, bigger waves, more frogs, and special ones such as the Bullfrog and the Golden Frog.
- Nine ponds, nine rules. Frogs slide on the Frozen Pond, the River pulls two ways at once, pads sink in the Swamp and the Waterfall has an edge.
- A King to dethrone. The King Toad rules his own lake, and he doesn't stay down for long.
- Eggs that stay. Metamorphose, start the pond over and keep the eggs. They hatch into upgrades that never go away.
- Eight frogs to collect. Some come with upgrades, some hide in their own pond until you pull off a feat.
