Ahhhh... everyone's favourite day of the week - Tunesday!
Ben Huskins, Lead Designer:
Matt Berry - Television Themes - Rainbow
Mainly because Lauran won't let me put any Corduroy on this list, and as a little bit of Two Point trivia - did you know Gary Carr worked on Rainbow? True story!
Prem Fatek, Artist:
The Oral Cigarettes - Color Tokyo
Lauren Woodroffe, UI Artistt:
Move - Saint Motel
Talk Too Much - COIN
Rich Brooks, Coder:
Interpol - Pace Is The Trick
Manic Street Preachers - Ocean Spray
Muse - Get Up And Fight
Ben Hymers, Lead Coder:
The Zutons! All 3 albums! On repeat! But I'll pick just one track; You've Got a Friend in Me - creepy lyrics, but lovely tune that just feels nice in my ears :)
Gary Carr, Creative Director:
What about ya boy T-Pain with By U a Drank :)
Jake O'Neill, QA Tester:
Looking Glass - Brandy
Cheap Trick - Surrender
Kansas - Carry on My Wayward Son
The Outfield - Your Love
Toto - Stop Loving You
Mark Smart, Lead Artist:
Sparks - So Tell Me Mrs Lincoln Aside From That How Was The Play
Could have chosen any track of their last album. Chose this because of the title. As a nine year old I was transfixed by the look of the Mael Brothers. Ron with his, lets call it Charlie Chaplin moustache, staring impassively from behind his keyboards, Russel with a great head of curly hair bouncing hyperactively around in the front. Really only recognised for one tune, but they’ve consistently made great music since the early 70’s….er not that I remember.
Johnny Moped – Running Scared
Belter from The lads third album. Three albums in 40 years is hardly prolific. Mind you surprised they made them. Croydon’s proto punks have always been a bit chaotic. (boasting Captain Sensible of the Damned and Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders in previous line ups) About to play one of their biggest gigs, Johnny hadn’t turned up, fifteen minutes before they were due to go on, they found him. Queuing up to get into his own gig.
The Stranglers – Down In The Sewer
Chosen only because I saw them again for the umpteenth time recently, and this is one of my favourites live (it’s a bit prog/punk as well)
