The free demo is the whole classic dive: Coral Gardens, the Drowned Wreck, Kelp Depths and the Abyssal Temple. Face 4 guardians and bring all 4 Glyphs home. Dive as 12 octopi, find 86 treasures and discover 58 synergies. After your first full dive, you can start building the Lagoon too.
Everything you find in the demo comes with you to the full game. The feats you earn in the demo turn into Steam achievements the first time you play it.

- 9 seas and 9 guardians. Wherever the current splits, you choose the way down.
- 16 octopi to dive as and 8 weapons, from an ink jet to a tentacle whip.
- 122 treasures to wear and befriend, 39 items and charms, and 106 synergies to discover.
- Beat a guardian and two treasures float up. Keep the one you like best.
- Dress up at Mira's Mirror Pool, then snap a picture at the Photo Spot.
- A Lagoon to rebuild, with 21 projects and 5 neighbours to meet.
- The Daily Dive, seeds to share, and five tides of extra challenge.

Four new ways to ink
Swish a Tentacle Whip, lob a Coral Cannon, zap a Jelly Wand or toot a Conch Horn. Each one comes with its own new octopus to dive as.
Keep an eye out for new treasures too, like the Lighthouse Hat. Its two big beams sweep round and round you, and foes they shine on get zapped and slowed.
Made for everyone
Play with a gamepad, or a keyboard and mouse (you can change the keys). Gentle options help little ones: a Gentle Current for easier dives, auto-fire that aims for you, bigger text, less screen shake, and no screen flashes.
Cartoon ink only, no blood. The capsule machine takes the gems you find on your dive, never real money.
It runs on Windows, SteamOS and Linux, and on Macs with Apple Silicon. On Windows you can even lean over the sea in VR (it's optional).
