What it is. You are the guard at the gate of Hell. Souls come to your booth with their papers. You check them against the registry, X-ray the luggage, ask a few questions, and press one of two buttons: ADMIT or TERMINATE. Some of them are sneaking in. Some of them are exactly who they say they are. Every wrong call costs you money, and the rent is due to Satan at the end of the week.
What is in the demo. Your first shift, with Satan on the phone telling you how the booth works. The first week at the gate: seven shifts and the audit that closes them. The registry, the X-ray, the question list, the memos and the standing orders of the week. A new roster every run: the tricks are authored, the people wearing them are dealt fresh each time.
What the full game adds. The month: four weeks, four audits, the orders stacking up, the questions getting harder, visitors who are not souls, and a rent that climbs. Then NIGHTMARE, the run that does not end until you miss a payment, with a leaderboard for how long you lasted.
One thing we will never tell you. The game never shows you who was lying. Not during the shift, not at the end of the day. The audit says how many calls you got wrong, never which. If you want to know, you have to prove it at the window, with what is in front of you.
Tell me! I'm in the forums so please message me anything you feel needs adjustment.
If the booth is your kind of place, wishlist the full game. It is the thing that decides whether anyone else ever sees it.
Sinners, please.
