Hi everyone! Just a few days left until launch, and this update brings together several things that came from people already testing the game. Thank you for every message!
The stork's delivery
If the stork flies by twice in a row and you can't click it, it won't take the hat away: it leaves the delivery floating next to your boat. It waits there for as long as it takes, even if you close the game. Just click it when you're back.
Tweaks
- Volume now goes up to 150%. The default is still 100%, but you can turn it up if you want.
- Your screen goes to sleep normally again with the game open.
- The Steam overlay (Shift+Tab) no longer opens in wallpaper mode, where it used to lock the screen.
- The menu no longer shows a pointless scrollbar.
- The new pirate tricorn from the Pirate's Pack no longer disappears from the Wardrobe.
- Small text and alignment fixes in the menu and Settings.
The leaderboard is already live
Starting at launch, every fish you catch scores points on a test leaderboard on the game's website. It has no prize and resets on November 1, when the first championship edition begins, with the Jester's Hat as the prize. Time to start practicing!
