Hello, heroes! Thank you for trying Stack Heroes and sharing the difficulties you encountered at the start.
The demo has been updated to v0.91.9. This update makes gathering, selling and buying packs smoother, with less waiting and confusion in the opening. We have also rounded up improvements from the last few updates below.
Faster gathering and clearer tutorials
- Shorter base gathering times: Logging in the pine grove, quarrying on the rocky slope and picking berries from bushes now each have a base work time of 5 seconds.
- Hands-on selling and pack-buying tutorials: The tutorial guides you to drag a wooden staff to the selling area at the upper left, then drag coin cards onto a pack to pay. The explanation and action for your first purchase are now combined, removing an extra step. You can still skip the tutorial.
- Clearer pack shelves: The “drag coins to buy” prompt is easier to spot, with tidier names, prices and unlock indicators. Click a pack to view buying instructions and a contents preview. The payment drop area above packs has been expanded, making your release position more forgiving.
- Fixed a food-shortage tutorial conflict: When rations fall below two days of reserves, the first-purchase tutorial waits so you can gather berries and replenish your food. The buying tutorial resumes once you have enough.
Management and save improvements
- Warnings before selling essential materials: In the prologue, you will be asked to confirm before selling your last flint before the campfire is built, or all your remaining wood before the wooden-staff task is complete.
- Adjusted meal priorities: Ordinary food is used first. Food stacked on recruitment message cards is only used for meals when other rations are insufficient, reducing disruption to recruitment preparations.
- Better save selection: Playable profiles appear first and are sorted by their most recent save time. If your last selected profile is unavailable, the most recently saved playable profile is selected.
- Adjusted resource distribution in packs: The ordinary-resource allocation cycles for the streamside and woodland-hunting packs have been shortened, reducing the chance of going a long time without a particular resource.
Other recent updates
- Added “Restart Chapter” to the pause menu. After confirmation, it resets the current chapter's progress while keeping permanent collections.
- Added a gentle pulse to the table's paused-state indicator, making it easier to tell when time is paused.
- Added Japanese and Korean, selectable in Settings. Please let us know about translation or layout issues.
- Added Discord and QQ group links to the start screen for discussion and feedback.
The demo still includes the prologue, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Existing profiles compatible with this version can be continued; older incompatible profiles still cannot be loaded.
If you encounter a problem, please include your game version, steps to reproduce it and screenshots. Your feedback helps us refine every day on Mount Liang.
