This week we played all six missions of Treaty Ground: Corridor 2032 start to finish, over and over, with one question: does the game tell you the truth? Does the radio call what actually happened? Does the report at the end match the fight you just had? Can you win a mission the wrong way?
Too often, the answer was no. Here's what we fixed.
Winning the wrong way is over
- Kilo Post could be won by abandoning the hill. The report said "POSITION HELD TO RELIEF" while your tanks were somewhere else. Now leaving the post gets a warning, and if you're still off it at the whistle, you lose the mission. The relief is only called in once the relief column has actually reached you.
- Vaal Depot promised a "watched kilometre", but charging straight up the middle was the fastest way to win. There's now an anti-tank position on the east side that punishes a frontal charge. Take the quiet flank and you won't be hit at all.
- Survey Block could be cleared by one unarmed recovery vehicle that nobody ever shot at. The pickets now react to the tow, so you'll have to fight your way home.
- Borehole, the first mission, was teaching the losing play. Its briefing and objective rings now point you at the crest, and each column gets its own warning before it wanders off.
Tanks are still boxes, but the missions now reward the right plan.
The radio says what happened
Crews used to call hits that didn't land and celebrate before the outcome was decided. Now every victory call waits until the result is locked.
Kilo Post, a minute into contact. ZERO's relief call stays pinned at the top of the NET, and "Contact — tanks front" shows up once, marked ×2, instead of twice.
The NET scrollback keeps mission lines pinned, groups repeated calls together, and no longer shows debug readouts. On a win, the report leads with the mission's own closing line. The campaign verdict now reads PENDING until all six missions are on record, so it can't be decided early.
We also added story to the quiet stretches: the long approach in Survey Block, the stall in Pine Cut, and the tail end of Borehole. The story that used to live only in briefings now plays out during four of the missions.
For launch
- Twelve Steam achievements are in. They're checked once, when the after-action report is sealed, and range from clearing each mission to Never Seen and Recovery Under Fire.
- Crash reports are opt-in and off by default. The first launch asks. If you say yes and the game crashes, the report goes out the next time you start it. The game keeps only the 20 most recent reports.
- The store page got more honest. We removed a claim that flanking shots do bonus damage, because they don't. Damage comes down to penetration against armour thickness. Flanking works because side armour is thinner. The new screenshots also show off the workspace: a planning layout, an execution layout, and a full-screen wall of gunsight cameras.
- The trailer has a new narrator: the radio operator. It also got a new sound-design pass.

More hardening before the build goes out, and more playthroughs to catch whatever we missed this time. Treaty Ground: Corridor 2032 launches free on Steam on November 5. Wishlist it and watch this space.
Good commanders win here. Fast clickers don't.
