Hello everyone, I’m the developer of Ember Crown.
I’d like to share some changes to the plans for the game.
Development has been progressing more smoothly than I originally expected. This has made me reconsider the original plan: rather than releasing a small game first, I could take a little more time and bring you a richer, more complete game at launch.
With that in mind, I’ve decided to make the following changes to Ember Crown’s release plans:
- Expanding the game’s content. The new version is expected to offer several times as much content as the current version, with the new story mode included in the base game.
- Adjusting the release schedule. To finish and test the additional content, the release may be later than originally planned. I’m not setting a new date yet; I’ll announce one once the development timeline is clearer.
- Adjusting the price. The price will increase to reflect the larger scope of the full game. The final price will be announced before release.
- Reworking the promotional materials. The store description, trailer, and related images will be remade and updated over time to accurately represent the expanded game. The materials currently on the store page mainly reflect the original version, not the full scope of the new one.
- Planning a demo. I originally had no plans to release a demo. With the game’s expanded scope, I now plan to offer one so you can try the game before buying it. I’ll share its contents and release timing once those details are settled.
I’m making these changes because I see an opportunity to build a more substantial game, and I want the version that reaches you to be a more worthwhile experience.
Thank you for your interest in Ember Crown and for your patience. I’ll keep sharing development progress, and I look forward to showing you the game’s new direction when it’s ready.
