Hey guys, I wanted to give the original closed-beta crew something to keep for helping me build this game. You're getting an exclusive Founding Scout tag, stamped ALPHA / 2026.

It hangs from the rear hip and stays hidden whenever you have ghillie camo equipped. You can show it with no camo and in the rewards/victory displays. It's cosmetic only. The tag is ready for an upcoming build; it isn't in the current Steam update yet. Use the same Steam account you used for the closed beta.

We're also preparing the free Ghillie Wars Playtest. Once Valve approves it and the launch checks are finished, that separate Steam library entry will take over as the place we all test together. Even if you already have a beta key, you'll install and launch Ghillie Wars Playtest for those sessions. Your original game license stays on your account.

Don't switch or uninstall anything yet. Keep using the current beta until I post the go-ahead and exact joining instructions. The Playtest isn't open yet, and I don't have a confirmed opening date.

Thanks for the late nights, bug reports and clips. Please keep posting in-game footage in Discord #videos, with kill/bug timestamps, the name you want credited, and whether we can repost it. You've helped this game a ton.
