Locker Room is getting a new look
We are redoing the art of Locker Room from the first screen to the last. We are changing the art, and we are leaving the story alone. Every scene, every line and every choice you make stays exactly where it is.
Why we are doing it
We wanted the art to feel more consistent from scene to scene, so the story is easier to follow. The new style gives every character one clear look that stays the same through the whole game.
Panels that show what matters
The biggest change is how a scene is shown. A screen is no longer one picture. Each screen now has the place, the character, and small panels that show the detail the line is about. When Kira looks at the Coach's hands, you see the hands. When he remembers the handshake, you see the handshake in its own panel.
These panels are new, and there are a lot of them. They make each moment easier to read, and they show you what Kira is noticing without needing more text.
What stays the same
The story, the dialogue and the choices do not change. The game also stays fully translated, and we have added Traditional Chinese next to Simplified Chinese.
A first look
Here are a few screens from the first episode in the new style.
We are also refreshing the store page, the screenshots and the trailer so they match the new art.
Thank you for playing and for your patience while we rebuild it. We will share more screens as the work moves forward.
