Cliffside Halloween is back with some new additions and we've added several new Halloween-themed unlockable cosmetics to the game, which are available now for a limited time, along with the seasonal unlocks from previous Halloween events!
On top of all that, we not only have some updates and fixes detailed below, but a community-led Trick or Treat Halloween giveaway, giving you even more opportunities to earn new hats!
Let's dig in and see what's in this year's treat bag.
Cliffside Halloween Returns
Our haunted version of Cliffside makes a return this year with some new tricks and treats! The bloodstained rugs and perfectly carved pumpkins haven't changed but you'll find some new Candy Cauldrons around the map to snack on during your missions. Don't eat too much our you'll be dealing with more than a stomachache!
Along with the new Candy Cauldrons comes some new spooks and scares. We're not going to spoil them here but we hope you're not afraid of ghosts!
New Halloween Hats and Returning unlocks
Halloween is here, and it wouldn't be Halloween if we couldn't dress up in new costumes. Today we're adding multiple new items to the seasonal unlock rotation -- and whether it's animal, aliens, pilots, or pumpkins, you're going to have options.
This year's Halloween costumes come straight from Intruder's community. Massive thanks to artists Quake and Jvne for the modeling and texture work on the new hats!
The Monitor Head also includes cool Intruder Fan art stickers from Wrenn, Xixo, Solbusaur, Quartztrooper, MadmanEpic, Krimbopple, and Polybius.
Halloween unlocks from our previous events are available too!

Trick or Treat Event
As darkness falls across North America on Halloween night, the Intruder community will gather for the most haunting of rituals: Playing Intruder.
Terrifying as that might be, it could be worth the risk: Anyone who plays in the official Trick or Treat lobby the evening of October 31 will automatically be entered to win a random Intruder item! Simply join the lobby (hosted by Shala), play some spooky matches, and cross your fingers!
Keep an eye out for the Trick or Treat lobby so it doesn't sneak up on you.
Improvements & Fixes
Option added to use the Use Key to open doors, default is off
Fix for doors from custom maps (like Professional) not spawning correctly
Other minor door code fixes & optimization
DiD yOu KnOw ThAt!?
Each time you level up during the Intruder Halloween event, you'll have a chance to unlock new hats. The more you level, the more you're likely to earn -- told you that 200% XP bonus was going to come in handy. But these seasonal cosmetics go out of rotation. Act now...or you'll have to wait 'til Halloween 2026 to earn them again! Now that's scary.
Special thanks as always to the community members of Secret Base Alpha, whose early testing always helps Intruder updates become the best they can be.
