Hey everyone,
Time for another status update. Friday is release day! It’s getting very real now.
Last week was mostly about marketing. A few streamers have already had a chance to play the game and share plenty of gameplay ahead of launch, including RedReaper____ on Twitch. Thank you again for checking it out!
This morning, I sent press releases to a few journalists and media outlets. Whether anyone picks up the story is always a bit of a gamble, of course.
There’s also been more work on the game itself!
Here are the latest fixes and finishing touches:
Fixed camera clipping.
Fixed the fifth case overlapping with the one in front of it when holding a full stack.
Polished the throwing animation and fine-tuned how throwing feels.
Updated the animation for switching between cases in your hand.
Fixed a bug that affected the pitch of the success sound towards the end of the game.
Added sound effects to the Grab-o-mat.
Fixed incorrect controller button icons on the arcade machines.
Arcade high scores now save when you exit the game, too.
A special thank you to my brother’s friend, who gave me some really useful feedback. If you’re reading this, thank you so much! Having someone take a close look and share their thoughts is especially valuable this close to release. :)
What’s planned for the remaining days before launch?
There’s one tiny thing I still want to adjust. I also have a few more pre-release keys that I’d love to share with content creators and streamers, and the trailers need another update for launch.
And after release? Console versions and a co-op mode are still on the to-do list. Apparently, I’m not planning on getting bored anytime soon.
Thanks for following along. Just a few more days to go! <3
